This white boy on A&M can hoop

Maybe we have been overreacting to the A&M and Vandy losses. Maybe we just caught them at the wrong time
Posted on 3/12/22 at 2:10 pm to mistaken4193
Nah. For the most part, numbers support us being mediocre for the last 3 months. We just aren’t a good team for an entire game. It’s much more about us than the opponent.

I had A&M moving on. Buzz is a good coach. He was my other guy to go after if we didn't get Oats.

I guess it just took a minute, but they do seem to have finally gotten their legs under them with Buzz. I was surprised they had struggled so much with him so far. He has won consistently for years at multiple jobs.
Also LOLOLOLOLOLOL at the corndogs. NCAA is accusing them of lack of institutional control for both football and men's basketball from 2012-2020.

That NOA is absolutely insane

These allegations seem pretty pretty bad.

The fact that LSU fans don’t seem to understand that head coaches directly paying for recruits is unusual is the most strangely obtuse part. Get a fricking booster to pay for recruits, dude.

That MFer is Exhibit A of why Wade was fired

Always liked Buzz Williams. Great coach and his teams consistently play hard. Happy to see him move on.

They are going to get absolutely hammered.

Wade was paying kids straight from his own personal bank account. It makes Tennessee's McBagsofcash scheme seem downright sophisticated.

Can’t imagine Wade or Bill Armstrong will be coaching for awhile.

Oh he was being blackmailed AND they have text messages about it. Hmm - is that bad?
Was that on his “normal” phone? Did this guy take any precautions?

Makes me glad that we have the coach and staff we have

The carousel took an unexpected twist on Saturday afternoon, when LSU suddenly parted ways with Will Wade and made Kevin Nickelberry the interim head coach. LSU received its Notice of Allegations from the NCAA earlier this week -- and in Wade's contract, it states the school can fire him without penalty if he's charged with a Level 1 or Level 2 violation.
Where does LSU turn next? Remember, athletic director Scott Woodward poached legendary women's coach Kim Mulkey from Baylor and then wooed Brian Kelly from Notre Dame to become the Tigers' football coach. Woodard is going to take some big swings.
Atop the list could be Baylor's Scott Drew. He's been linked to the Louisville vacancy this spring, although it seems unlikely he would leave Baylor one year after winning the national championship. Woodward could also make a run at the likes of Illinois' Brad Underwood, who has shown the recruiting chops to compete in the SEC. Could Woodward go back to Texas A&M and hire Buzz Williams? The Aggies have played themselves into the NCAA tournament this week. Arkansas' Eric Musselman could be a target, given his name recognition and what he's done with the Razorbacks. But Musselman seems to enjoy Fayetteville and has two top-10 recruiting entering the program next season. One other name could be Florida's Mike White, who spent four seasons as the head coach at Louisiana Tech and has been mentioned as someone who could look to make a move.

Georgia seems to be moving fairly quickly with its search, and one name has emerged as the clear front-runner two days after the school officially firedTom Crean. It's Cleveland State's Dennis Gates, whom we mentioned as one of the two prominent names discussed among industry sources in recent weeks. He's done an impressive job as the Vikings' head coach, winning two regular-season titles and going to one NCAA tournament, and he has plenty of high-major experience, including at Florida State -- which has recruited Atlanta as well as any program in the country. Chattanooga's Lamont Paris and Murray State's Matt McMahon are other candidates, but Gates is emerging as the early favorite.

Missouri officially fired Cuonzo Martin on Friday, although the wheels have been in motion behind the scenes for weeks. The school hired Fogler Consulting to aid with the search. Sources indicate that the Tigers want to take some big swings early in the search, although it's unclear which big names could possibly be of interest. McMahon is one of the prizes of this coaching cycle and Missouri might end up being the best job on the board after the big ones at Louisville and Maryland. North Texas' Grant McCasland, San Francisco's Todd Golden and Baylor assistant Jerome Tang are some other names who could be involved.
