Problej is thats pretty cocky coming from someone on a .500 team. I think our kids do have pride and its a new season. My gut is that floppin pippen caught a case of diarrhea of the mouth, he got every call vs bama a few weeks ago and still didnt get it done. I wanted to play ANYBODY except kentucky... We just dont match up with them. We can beat anyone but them and maybe the barn.

The guy I talked to from the ticket office at Amalie Arena lied when he told me the better seed would be using the left bench every game.

That’s well said. I think we matchup better against KY than you think, minus the refs and home crowd that will exist in Tampa. We easily could be 2-0 against them if we shot 3s with our eyes closed in Coleman, or played even a smidge of defense in Rupp (assuming KY only gets 20% better calls). I know they were missing a couple of pieces that game but our guys would definitely play hard against KY or AU. I would be more excited than nervous in a game like that, but Vandy just makes me nervous and not excited…except for if Rojas body slams Pippen on a couple layups…that I could get excited about.

Lol hopefully we just stand back and let him fall. Good point about the neutral court aspect, kinda why i like our guy's chances in this tournament. It comes down to us guarding, which we ve shown an ability to do lately, minus the A&M game

Georgia and Missouri have been embarrassing in this tournament. Can you imagine losing to either of those teams?

Maybe i'll get lucky and we will be on the left bench tonight. I don't see a pattern yet as to which team uses which bench so I have no idea how they go about deciding that. Maybe the better seed chooses which bench they want?

Tampa is a terrible place to host the tournament, if you're looking for local fan support.

This team combined with Pippen's revenge factor has me worried to death we bow out tonight. It shouldn't even be close...but it will be.

Saturday is much more expensive. Hoping tickets come down closer to game time on Saturday.

You guys see that Texas lost after having a better than 98% chance to win (20 point lead over TCU). That’s a tough day after their 1 baseball team lost to Texas St. They’re getting owned by small in state schools (and not the top ranked Baylor kind).
That reminds me, are we rooting for Blazers tonight? It’s probably been a few years since Bama, AU, and UAB made the Tourney. I was hoping South AL was going to make a run in their tourney, but they fizzled out.
