It reminded me of the UNC-UK ending in the NCAA tournament a couple years ago

Furman/Chattanooga had a wild ending

Cal #1, he remade his roster this year in a way no one could have thought possible. After that u could have bruce, nate, and muss in any order. Barnes is 5th, then everyone else

Ill add that pearl will be have his work cut out for him next year... Hes gonna lose smith and kessler, recruiting class was meh... So itll be tough

Just me , but kd, cambridge, and cardwell trio isnt gonna scare alot of teams. Not easy for role players to step into starring roles

He’s had the #1 or #2 recruiting class for a decade and now has his pick of transfers.
He’s underachieved with the talent he’s had. Half of the NBAs all stars are former UK players.

My point was he was willing to go older, this team isnt full of one and dones

Well that sounds positive.

I can assure you we won't be relying on Cambridge and Cardwell in any major way next season other than punch off the bench. KD maybe, but we rely on him heavily this year. He drives a lot of people crazy, and for some he's been an acquired taste.. but I've loved him since I first saw him play us when he was at Georgia. He is PERFECT for a Pearl roster.
Pearl is gonna hit the transfer portal for the 3, 4, 5 positions big time and hopefully come away with a couple starters. We'll roll with what we have at the 1 and 2 and add a couple of good recruits.
As we sit now, Bama/UK/UT look like the favorites next year from a distance but a lot will change between now and next season and I expect AU to be in the mix.

I think Jaden Bradley is the perfect Oats PG

Lunardi has said in the past he doesn't seek to follow bracketing principles until the final bracket he makes

All the scouting reports on Bradley definitely point to a guy who has the strengths to sure up some of our biggest PG weaknesses from this season. Hopefully he's ready to step in.

Yeah, Lunardi only ranks the teams without the final tweaking committee would do to avoid conference and regular season rematches and create "story line" matchups.
