Yeah this is a very hate-able team. I know the metrics say this is our 2nd best team in forever which is a sad fact in and of itself, but this team is frustrating to watch at least 75% of each game.

Great answer. Roster needs an overhaul

I wonder what Holt’s fate is about to be

Would not hurt my feelings one bit if he was a portal casualty to try and bring in someone that can impact the game.

Lol the roster will be brand new anyway next year on the signing class alone, its not like theres a slew of underclassmen on this team. Thr roster overhaul comments some are making arent even applicable

No excuse for a shot clock violation in crunch time. Sickening. Davison is a net liability for this team. Ball shouldn’t have been in his hands.
A bit crazy to me that JD is getting the majority of the hate when Ellis and Quinerly combine for 10 turnovers to 2 assists, and Shack forcing his way off the floor by quitting defensively on a horrid shooting night.
There's a lot of blame to go around, but as inexcusable as that shot clock violation was, Davison was not the biggest reason for today's loss.

I’m sorry but if this stuff is going at this point in the season, there’s some issues within the program. Chemistry hasn’t been right all year, or especially after the Houston game. Would hate to lose Holt. Think he has a ton of upside.

Who knows but I hope he gets it together!

I thought the biggest issue today was the turnovers. Davidson gets a lot of the blame at the end and rightly so, but you can’t turn the ball over the way we do and expect to beat good teams consistently. Q and Ellis weren’t very good today handling the ball at all.

The only issue I have with Oats is the rotations. Sometimes it feels like the rotations and lineups are just pulled out of a hat.

If it's what it looks like, a freshman quitting on the team this late in the season isn't a program problem. Dude was getting more and more minutes and trust. Questionable choice for the kid if that's the case.

He gave good bench minutes
But if we can upgrade in the portal, and bring in someone who can actually shoot (holt’s came out of HS as a shooter but I don’t believe it so far) id be 100% fine with that
I might be more excited to see what we do with the roster in the off season than I am what we’re about to do in the tourney

Looks like we are 6 if A&M wins tonight, 5 if MSU wins

Agree.
JD is going to catch the most heat as long as keeps making these same type turnovers that are just so frustrating:
So many of his turnovers are just basic passes on the perimeter where he's too nonchalant to seemingly even notice a defender in the passing lane. It's not even that most of them would do more than get the ball to a guy tightly covered on the perimeter even if it was completed.
It's like he's in a passing drill in practice without defenders on the floor.
Again, certainly agree that he's not the only one of our guards "not making enough winning plays" but these just make you want to bite glass.

Well, plenty of teams have found it in postseason play. I have no reason to expect this team to do that, but I didn't expect the Braves to win the world series either.
New season, let's get hot.

I just don't see what NBA scouts see if JD.
Cannot handle the dribble well enough

So with Auburn and Kentucky winning Alabama’s SEC seeding looks like this:
If MSU wins Alabama is the 5th seed facing the winner of Ole Miss/Missouri then Arkansas
If Texas A&M wins Alabama is the 6th seed facing the winner of Vandy/UGA then Kentucky
Let's go State.
