Remember that time UGA won the SECT after being one of the worst teams in the league and made the NCAAT with a losing record? That’s not going to happen this time but would be hilarious. Really wish they would have beaten AU and forced them to share the title…SEC Refs are as bad as UGA basketball…if that’s possible

Maybe. 6 seed puts us in the bracket with Tennessee and Kentucky playing last games of the day, Thursday against winner of Vandy and Georgia. then we playTenn or Ky 5, whichever is the 3 seed. A 5 seed has us playing the 2:30 game, on Thursday against the Ole Miss/ Mizzou winner and Friday against Arkansas if we win that. Auburn likely if we win against Arkansas. Which scenario you like?

I feel like this back and forth has been going on for like two weeks now and you still haven't answered his question of what other team in the last 10-15 years is better than this one other than last year.
I'm all for a reasonable debate, but it's starting to seem like you'd prefer to just shite on this team and talk shite to George instead of actually having the conversation.

Not really sure what's funny..unless being in the 300's in the country in 3 pt percentage, or avg about 15 turnovers a game. With about half of them being unforced.
Oats wants layups,3's and foulshots. That's fine if shots are dropping. But to go over 8 mins, at the start of the 2nd half and shoot nothing but 3's (0-11 btw) then you need to examine what you're doing offensively.
There has to be some sets to get to the rim or occasionally shoot a midrange jumper.
The offense also needs tweaking on inbounds plays..because about 85% of the time..we struggle to even get the damn ball in..

At this point in the year, they are what the results say they are. And the results say they're an inconsistent team that plays down and up to their competition.
You can try and act like the Gonzaga, Baylor, and Houston games (all of which are/were against top 5 caliber teams) don't count, but they count just as much as the UGA and Missouri games do. This team is quite easily the second best team of the last 15 years. A team with issues for sure, but also with a lot of upside. Our best can beat anyone, but our worst can also lose to just about anyone.
