Im proud of the effort of the guys, as that’s not an easy place to play and the effort was there today. But to not only not get a shot off down 1, but for it to be a shot clock violation?? In overtime?? Just inexcusable

Everybody quit overreacting. The effort was there and we took a good team to OT on the road. It isn’t the end of the world. If Shackelford wouldn’t have been useless we win.

At the end of the day our 3 perimeter players (JQ, Shack, JD) are 5’11”, 6’3”, and 6’3”, instead of 6’3”, 6’6”, and 6’6”. It limits us.

I wanted Gurley in the game the entire overtime. People blame JD because of the shot clock violation but only one person was like shoot the ball in that was KEON so literally nobody was saying anything.

Guys, JD went 3-7 from 3, had 2 offensive rebounds, 3 steals, 4 assists (Miles the only other one who had more than 1) and 4 TOs, which was lower than Keon’s 6 and the same as JQ’s 4. His defense isn’t great and the low IQ play on the shot clock violation was really bad. But in no way was he our worst performer today and it wasn’t close!!!
Oats knows JD isn’t a high IQ player, and should have been coaching to the time on that in bound play.
JD has had some very, very bad games. This wasn’t one of them. He played good enough to win. Shack’s play, Oats coaching, and Keon’s turnovers are the difference.

JD has zero burst. He looks like he is stuck in mud whenever he tries to move with the ball. With his playstyle he has to gain some quickness
