Shots could fall for a weekend and get to the Sweet 16. But at some point they won’t fall and we don’t defend consistently well enough to overcome that.

Stop with the excuses. JQ hasn't really played good in a hot minute. He just leads in scoring.

It's Oats job to find something that flips a switch or lights a fuse. Not only have we not found that thing, there has been absolutely nothing that even appears to be an attempt to do it.

We've now come out flat - and by flat I mean for a full HALF or 3/4 of a GAME - in the following consecutive games

- Memphis
- Jacksonville State
- Davidson
- Tennessee
- Florida
- Missouri
- Auburn

All of them. Every single one. We all of a sudden flipped a switch at some point in the 2nd half of all those games (with maybe the exception of Memphis). In most of them it was too late. In all of them we were utter dogshit for at least an entire half.

That's a frickin problem and when it happens for 7 straight games it's a problems that requires some drastic outside the box thinking to rewire.

I don’t get it either. We’re 3-4 in our last 7. Of those 3 wins, Jacksonville State dominated us for 30 minutes until we scrambled and found a way to win. Tennessee was without 2 of their best players and they owned us for most of the game until we pulled ahead at the very end. The Florida win was a struggle in the first half, but we actually put together a full 20 minutes for a solid win. In all four losses we were dominated most of all of the game.

So basically, of the last 280 minutes of basketball, we’ve played like the better team for about 60 of those minutes. We are, flat out, a bad basketball team right now. Certainly not a team capable of going .500 in SEC play.

Quinerly may have just had the most frustrating individual performance I've ever seen. Not just the last 5 minutes, but the entire game. Every time we got close JQ dribbled the air out of the ball with hero ball and the lead ballooned back up to double digits. And then late, we have ALL of the momentum with other guys who are feeling it, and JQ decides to go hero ball and dribble out the air again.

Also, why in the hell was JD not out there? The few times he was allowed to run the offense, there was ball movement and not just one person dribbling. He was also coming off a stretch of incredible minutes. How is he the guy you bench?
