Really not a terrible drive from Huntsville. You could probably do it in 5.5 hours if there isn't a whole lot of traffic. Once you get past Louisville, people go around 90mph
Yeah thinking of leaving Monday morning and staying either in Louisville or eastern side of Indy

Why on earth did Mike White let us dribble the clock down from 1 minute to 30 seconds?

Real head scratcher. He had no interest in extending the game for some reason.. Which makes no sense considering the horrible free throw shooting

Great win tonight. Even better when you consider that Gurley didn’t get to play at all. Our guys got bullied a bit in the 1st half but for about 16 of the 20 minutes in the 2nd half, we punked them. That’s the Alabama I want to continue to see.

Did Oats encourage the layup at the end of the game for MOV/analytic purposes?

I think the Net is all based on efficiency metrics. So if you’re favored by 4.5 and win by 5, you shouldn’t see much movement. If you win by 20 or lose by 10, then you’ll see movement. We won by 5 at home, so not going to move the needle much. Beat FL by 10 on the road, and you’ll see us move up. While our record is pretty good and we have a couple good efficiency outcomes (Gonzaga, Miami, etc.), we have a lot of “as expected” games (Houston by 1 at home, bad teams by double digits at home, Drake by a handful, etc.) or even worse outcomes (Iona loss, bad team struggle wins like South AL & Jax St, Memphis route, Davidson “home” loss, etc.). That’s how you end up with a solid record but only above average metrics. ETA: I use “average” in terms of contenders/Power6, not vs all 300+ teams.
And the ascension in NET begins!! 15 point road win against Mizzu and double digit win at home next Tuesday night to knock the Barn down a notch should put us back in top 10 in the polls. Let’s gooooo!!!

Amazing how different we look when our shooters hit a few.
I’m in same boat so it looks like I’m going. I’ve got almost $800 in per ticket and I’d rather go than take a big loss on them.

That was a great fricking win. We've still got plenty of flaws, but seen to have gotten our swagger back. Gary was a monster. Our shooting still sucks. But much better defensive effort in the second half than we've played in awhile. And they held off a strong run, and closed it out.
Getting a win against Florida on the road, as an underdog, is great to see. Especially with his poorly we finished December.

Winning at Memorial in Nashville and down in Gainesville are two things I don't think any longsuffering Alabama fan will ever take for granted.

This is the dumbest location they've ever played a game. Nobody wants to visit Indy in early January.

- Only lost 2nd chance points by 5 (a win)
- Turnover % under 20%
- PPP > 1.0
- PPP allowed < 1.0
Hell of a 2nd half

Under Gottfried, my memories take me to the early Saturday Jefferson Pilot games where we’re down 20 halfway through the first half at the O Dome.

It'd be cool if we went to Columbia this weekend and led wire to wire without much tight assholery.

Gottfried continually shite the bed on the road in conference. We would win maybe 1 or 2 conference road games a year…. Maybe
