Is the general consensus still that JD's gonna be a one and done? To me he has the athleticism to be one and done but his game still needs some fine tuning.

So basically Reese 2.0, but we did our usual shite of hyping Gurley up to be a big time playmaker.

Our preseason fandom hype about Bama's ceiling based on what we thought Gurley was going to be can't hold a candle to what we thought Tchikou was going to be versus what he actually is, apparently.

People were talking about him as a lottery pick and he has played 5 total minutes, all with the walk-ons, in 12 games.

He HAS to be hobbled...because watching those highlights he can do what Gurley can and better, and he's three inches taller.

It doesn’t always translate

I’m a Rojas believer. I believe he can at least give us Reese like Production (which I will gladly take compared to what Gurley has been giving us)And at least be respectable at that pick n pop 3 that Reese shot.

Rojas has no respectable outside shot. He might make one here and there but he won’t pull a defender from the basket. Not only will he completely limit our offensive output, he’ll also provide us nothing of value on defense. He’s too short to bang down low, and too fat to guard the perimeter. He’s a great locker room guy and I hope he recovers from his injury but he has no place on the court.

Laugh all you want but when Rojas comes in here averaging 10 PPG and shooting 38% from 3 all while being tough as nails inside on defense.......nobody will be laughing

On another note, how are we feeling about the Tennessee game? On paper I think we match up well, especially with no more Pons to shite all over us at the rim. We’ve played pretty terribly these last two games but it seems like a classic get back spot to me.

Barn just literally had a ball tipped into the back court, picked it up and heaved it from beyond half court with 1 second left on shot clock and drained it......Barn luck is back, folks

How we've been playing does it even matter?

Fulkerson is the only one that worries me. But Tennessee can lay some fricking bricks on offense. If our shots are falling I feel pretty confident in this one

He’s young, athletic, explosive, and has good BBIQ. He’s a first rounder if the draft was today

We’ve played with lots of energy against every “good” team we’ve faced, so I think we hopefully won’t have to worry about that side of things and I really think that’s been our downfall in all our losses. We’ve looked unmotivated on defense, ball stagnant, and have gotten killed on the boards (all hustle things) in all our losses. When we play hard, especially on defense, we get turnovers, get our transition offense flowing, and get solid ball movement in the half court (mainly after initial ball penetration). I’m hoping we see more of the latter next week.
