Guys I sure hope Oats likes it here at Bama . With his body of work on the court and recruiting , it’s just a matter of time before someone comes calling

Build the damn coliseum

Always thought 9000 seat arena would be dumb. We need at least a 12000 seat one. You don’t build arenas everyday hence cannot afford a costly mistake. Hopefully Oats will be build a tradition at Alabama and Basketball will become a perennial hot ticket in the near future.

It seems his family really likes it here, and that is important. The girls seem to like school, and his wife seems to have found good friends. Avery's wife never seemed to bond here, and I suspect they were gone when little Avery finished playing anyway.

Fortunately for Bama, Oats doesn't seem to have an obvious close ties with a Blue Blood to make it an emotional "destination" type job. From Wisconsin, small Alma mater and no long term stint at a blue blood

Unless Oats wants to be the "main event" at his school, I think if Bama is committed they can effectively match or outbid what most schools would ever offer.

Now, hard to really tell if he'd ever be interested in NBA if he continues to prove himself. That's always a wildcard

Yeah, I've said all along that I think if he leaves, it would be for the NBA. And he's got a ways to go before he starts getting any serious nba consideration.

So, our fans should stop the hand wringing and enjoy what we have.

It's basically an NBA system, but with a little fewer mid range shots. NBA has become very analytics driven.

Is that so? Do you know everything, or did you Google that?

You're certainly committed to dispelling the rumors about Avery Johnson and his wife.

You haven't posted in months then "Boom!"

It's like a bat signal went off.

It's actually my alter (not the original crazy fricker). It's stupid, but can be funny if the pins are set up right. The only other alter I have, is an LSU alter called Perpetual Victim, and that one's been funny as hell.

It has been fun to tell my FoG family about the recruits choosing Bama instead of going pro. I'm sure Mr Google Fingers will confirm, but I think this season will be our first ten with multiple 5 stars on the roster. JQ and JD might be our first pair on the court together.

If Coach Oats didn’t feel the love during the recognition at Bryant-Denny last night, he never will
