Just don't regardless. Take the high road. Leave the crap talk (that always comes back around to you at some point and is a neverending cycle) to the dregs.

If so, just make it short, simple, and sweet.

The ONLY reason that I can come up with, is if he chooses Bama is that Nelson is afraid to compete for his minutes.
We have better facilities, better coaching much larger home crowds.
If he just wants it handed to him, then Bama is definitely the best option.
If Nelson truly wants to get better and have a chance at next year's NBA Draft, then Arkansas is the better choice

Never celebrate or trash talk in the NIL era until it’s official. Arkansas could decide to say frick it with 15 minutes until his commitment and offer him $2M out of nowhere

It's about more than NIL mistaken.

Joka….when the offers are close I agree. But if a School offers twice the amount it 100% about NIL. Now as of right now our offers are close so NIL doesn’t matter. But if the Hunt family decides frick it and doubles their offer at the last minute then nothing we can do. So I choose not to celebrate or talk trash until it is official

Yeah theyre not gonna offer him 2 million dollars. Thats more than 95% of college coaches make a year. Some of the numbers you throw out are insane.

better coaching

Either Arkansas is a significantly better job or Oats isn’t the better coach. Can’t have both pork-asses

I hope we get him for sure but I think Grant Nelson is smart enough to understand what exactly he's trying to accomplish and that's to get drafted higher...He has lottery potential if he improves his three point shooting & defense. What offense allows you to jack up three's?

Some top HS players are choosing the G league offering them 500k a year over college, that should show you how much colleges are really offering.

Dink Pate and Ron Holland both chose the G league over whatever Arkansas offered them.

For the kind of players the G-League offers deals to it's probably similar dollar amounts, which is why there isn't a disproportionate number of them who are picking either option.

yeah, some college players get around 500k too. That's usually about as high as it goes though, 800k is the highest I have heard of. Nelson may get a little more since it's late but Arkansas isn't THAT desperate for him to pay him way more than the other players on their team I don't think. I am sure they offered him a lot though, we reportedly did too. We really are pretty desperate for good front court players.

Alabama Men's Basketball Instagram Account has started following Grant Nelson... I don't know what that means but it has to be good right?

I don't think they would follow him if they thought he wasn't coming. I might be wrong but seems like a good sign.
