For me, it helps pass the time during the dead period of football.

I think that's the difference in the two worlds. For most of my life as an Alabama fan there is no dead period for football. It's the same conversation over and over again. It's the same small world everyday. I love football, I just happen to like basketball better. This is almost a welcome change for me... sure, it's all mercenaries now, but we all get new best friends every year and new villains.

I kinda miss my serial downvoter. Every post I made for a few months hit a downvote. I was curious what i said to get a stalker. Because I thought it was hilarious how fast they'd arrive.

Would suck if Clifford secretly hates Clifford the Big Red Dog references.

Coach Murphy could post Cliff Claven and he’d have no idea who the hell it was or Cliff Huxtable and it would probably cause some concerns with Student Life

NBA supplemented the list of people in the draft. Onyenso now included. Looks like we may have to wait on him if Cliff goes to UNC.

If Murphy is wrong it's gonna be even worse than this.

I have no interest in NSD. I have no interest in the spring game.

I start paying attention to football in may/june.

Granted, I feel the transfer portal has changed the way I feel about college sports now.

Probably helps he didn't arrive on this continent until he was already a teenager.

That's a lot of money to watch AAU games. I didn't know they charged to watch them.

If we didn't have Nelson, Stevenson, Reid, Sherrell, etc, I'm sure we would be interested. As is, very doubtful. He would be a good fit, though.

I like the BJCC but it’d be a lot nicer to play marquee opponents at home.

Good to have good teams in Tuscaloosa for non conference, but the CM Newton Classic over Christmas Holidays when students are not in Tuscaloosa always needs to do better than Liberty this past year. Arizona in 2024 and past games with Oregon, Texas, Gonzaga and other marquee teams in the past need to be at Legacy in Birmingham over Christmas.

I multitask. There's no dead period for me with football or basketball. I try to keep up with baseball, softball and gymnastics too, get to a game/ meet occasionally.

Agreed, was able to get to that one back in 2022 at Legacy and it was a great holiday vibe in a beautiful venue, save the overwhelming desire to throat-punch Drew Timme for dropping 30 on us.

Even though Miller ended up with 36, that was the game where we just could not stop them, e.g. watching them shoot almost 75% in the second half.

If Murphy posts a picture of “Achor, The Medium Sized Blue Dog”(which is a Bollywood cartoon I believe) then we’ll know what’s up

At this point I don’t care if it’s Cliff or the KY guy, as long as we get one
