It cracks me up reading analysis on the rant saying Bama will struggle if they shoot poorly and go up against a hot shooting team. No shite. Any team is going to be in trouble if they play badly and the other team can’t miss

I always equate it to people saying we always struggle when we play another team with an elite QB. Like "No shi& Sherlock! Doesn't everybody?"

I like the one that said "Bama and Auburn have gotten knocked out of the tournament in the past when they shot poorly" as if this was something unique to basketball teams from the State of Alabama. BRILLIANT!

I’m afraid this thread zipped right past our usual SNAFU and now it’s FUBAR.

You mean the formula for almost every early round upset of a top seed ever?

You guys talking about playing against a hot team made me think of the following.
In between my eighth and ninth grade (1977), me and a buddy went to the Don Myer basketball camp in Nashville at Lipscomb. Patrick Ewing was at the camp as a camper. My buddy got to be on his team. I say this because we were watching the 1986 (I think it was), national championship game against Villanova. My buddy was pulling hard for Georgetown because of getting to know Ewing. Midway of the first half when the Villanova player got hit and was falling down sideways and threw up a shot from the middle of the lane and it hit nothing but net. I said this game is over. I think Villanova shot 86% during that game.

That was the genius poster "Wildcat Mike". He's one of the most butt-hurt over the Brandon Miller situation.

Sorry, but that game was won by our driving the lane. I think that our depth also wore them down. Our guard were spreading them out and getting the edge on the driving lanes, and just killing them! Hell!...even JQ looked quick!

You're totally right about that...we had a ton of quick burst. Our guys were consistently beating their defender to the rim with relatively direct blow by drives...not crossing them up, just getting to the rim with explosiveness that Arkansas' guards were not ready to defend.

That's not the hallmark of a team with dead legs. Burst is the first thing to go with fatigue, generally speaking, and the guards had that in excess Saturday.

10 seed seems to be the consensus spot for Auburn right now. Things will definitely get prickly if they don’t beat us or Tennessee. Also you never know how many bid stealers there will be

My optimistic view is that the high profile journalists are getting sources that even we don’t have that are confirming the Rivals story someone posted earlier

No kidding. Brandeaux takes any opportunity he can to pile on Alabama.

Gotta zig when everyone else zags.

There is a reason Alabama has stuck by him and it’s because once the trial happens a lot of the naysayers are going to see Miller truly has no culpability.

This is all because Carol Robinson decided to clickbait the hell out of this.

The article Headline should have “Murder Weapon retrieved from Brandon Millers car”

Instead she decided to do what would get the most clicks and said “Brandon Miller brought the gun to Darius Miles”

I hope Brandon sues the shite out of her
