We got some shooters this year. This team fits everything Oats wants to do. Sears was a great pick up and Miller is going to be a superstar.

I done said he is better than Collin…..and Collin was like really insanely good.

Miller is a much more well rounded player for sure. I wish we could have seen Sexton play for Oats though.

This team can genuinely play big or small and do it very well

And how tf does JQ look so quick after an ACL?

Yup. Dude is special. This is the most optimistic I've been about Bama basketball in a while. This team is super fun to watch and I would imagine these freshman are gonna get better as the year goes along. Mark Sears has been a hell of a pickup, as well. Kid has a sweet stroke. It also nice that Q is playing so early into the year. I was expecting late Dec into January. Be interesting to see how we do the next few weeks as competition really picks up.

I don’t get that sentimental about things very often but seeing JQ hit a couple 3s got me a little bit. I know I shite on him a decent amount last year but he does mean a lot to Bama basketball and Oats’ tenure here.

If you get up and down the court, protect the ball reasonably well and defend at a pretty high level, you don’t even have to shoot that well to win.

If you do shoot well, you blow people out.

Same sense I had watching the team two years ago.
