That's going to end up being one of the weirdest results of the entire season.

It's really frustrating how all 3 of our losses came against deeply flawed teams that all played their A++ game against us.

You think Uconn and Gonzaga are deely flawed?

Maybe so but they're both still ranked top 16 on KenPom and will probably be dangerous in the tournament.

Oklahoma is deeply flawed but most teams lose at least one game they shouldnt during the season. It's hard to get up everytime out when you play over 30 games.

Yes. Neither has a PG and Gonzaga's defense couldn't stop a high school girls team.

Since Dec 10 (8 weeks) on Torvik

25. Gonzaga (1 off, 171 def)
31. UConn (28 off, 53 def)

I think Gonzaga is what it is. I don't know if UConn was just playing over their heads early or if after enough tape teams figured out how to deal with them.

I guess so. Probably not many teams this year without a major flaw. I don't think we have one, and Purdue doesn't seem to have one. Tennessee's is their offense is horrible most games, I think their offense is now around 60th in adjusted effieicncy.

Gonzaga has looked like Gonzaga once this season. Of course it was against us

The Uconn and Gonzaga losses are one thing. They are both surefire top 15 teams. That's easy enough to accept. Can't really expect to go undefeated.

That OU loss is ugly as hell though. Ugly as hell. I watched the game and I still find it difficult to understand how that team beat this team that thoroughly. It doesn't make sense.

Is what it is though. Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Just a weird blip.

Definitely. They couldn't miss vs us.

The 3 of them also run high ball screens with pretty good bigs that we never defended well.

That's true and Oklahoma and Uconn played really good zone defenses vs us and kept up from hitting, and even shooting a lot of threes.

Yep. And UConn has fallen apart in conference play. Neither is a bad loss or anything like that OU debacle, but we are better than all 3 and should have won at least one of those games.

Crazy that Uconn is still 6th on KenPom. Most people still have Kansas as a low 1/high 2 seed and they've lost 4 of their last 6 games, granted they were all against good teams.

I think we could lose @Auburn and @Tennessee, win the rest, and end up as a 1 seed.

Grant had a good case for being furious.

In a CSB moment, if you’re watching that game or the Colorado State game, I’ve been on both of those gym floors and toured their facilities

Grant has a HOF stare down. But that's about all the emotion you're gonna get.

What happened to Colorado State? Medved has been good there every season but they've struggled this year.

He's not totally useless, but he would be battling for minutes with Dom Welch this year.
