This is just a terrible matchup for us. They’re more physical, more aggressive, longer, and can shut down our offense. We got lucky they missed a comical number of free throws in Starkville.

This shouldn’t be a shock to the team. Oats said he was worried about this game last night. Effort and focus is seriously lacking though

We need a better designed offense that allows players to take open mid range jumpers to get shot confidence back like JQ just took. Everyone too afraid to take an open 12 footer because of Oats philosophy. The 3s aren’t falling and we can’t play inside with them, so you have to make some type of adjustment.

This is literally like a game against a team that earned a double bye in the SEC tournament ( us) against a team that would be forced to play that opening night of bottom dwellers.
