Just checking in to say... that was fun.
I mean, I would have bet on a Bama win, but there's always some doubt, even when we have the better team. I'm 46 years old, so I've seen Bama beat UK a lot, but I've seen UK beat a lot of really good Bama teams too. So, a game where we lead the entire game and dominate 90% of it is an amazing feeling.

I wasn't able to post them today, but glad to know someone is usually reading them at least.

Arizona getting waxed at home vs a 6-10 Washington St. Looks like we'll be moving up even more.

Cheer twice - once for yourself and once for one of the old fat cats with the floor seats sitting on their hands or staring at their phones.
I was in section J. Let me tell you something, thank god I was around people in front and behind that got excited and yelled because it took an act of congress to get over half the section to get up and cheer. I think next time I'm going to try and get closer to the student section.

Four teams ahead of No. 7 Alabama have lost this week. Tide has a chance to be No. 3 or higher in Monday’s AP poll, which would be the program’s highest ranking since 2002.

My seats are section S right there with the student section so to see the action you have to stand the whole time

Playing catch up on what I missed earlier:
- I really like Sears but he does the "hero ball" every once in a while. As someone else said, we're winning so not going to complain too much. I don't really like the JQ comparison, I think he's a better Shack that is just 2 inches shorter. Better defender, can ball handle but is better off the ball, can get hot quickly, and finishes at the rim.
- I've made some complaints regarding JQ before, and those still stand, but I think over the past two games he's settling into the rotation. He's figured out his new role and more importantly, he's accepting that new role. I personally loved the double tech, the dude has his swagger back and moving forward can be our most valuable player off the bench. He's hitting his open shots, making the right passes, limiting turnovers, and giving effort on defense. So happy for him.
- This was Bediako's best game in crimson. He may be schemed out of the rotation at times but when you need someone to go pound for pound with an opponent's big man, he becomes extremely valuable. This was a much-needed big game for him.
- Jaden Bradley is a 1st round pick after next year. That is all.
- I really can't express how excited I am regarding this year's team. I know the program has crushed us whenever we've been given hope before but this team just seems to be built differently. I really hate judging a season by tournament results because it's such a crapshoot but this is an Elite 8 team at least. Just wait until Welch finds his shot and we get our best perimeter defender/corner 3 shooter Burnett back.

Kentucky was tied at the tip-off and never lead or even tied it up after that.

I'm shooting for those next time, it's had for me to sit still during our games. Especially the big ones

I got invited to sit in the student section today so that was fun
man what a game
Also, there’s only 44 tickets remaining for the LSU game. Looking like another sellout next Saturday

This is why a new arena matters. Neville Arena is half empty tonight but because of size and location of students it is still very very loud.

How are they half empty on one of their biggest home games of the year that's also a Saturday night game?
