Maybe that is why we left the scholarship open? Redshirt seems likely for this year, i'm sure.

Cosby enrolling for the spring semester and will redshirt. That’s big for his development towards next year.

Cosby isn't eligible for this season anyway is he?

I'm not sure of the rules tbh, but probably not. Sounds like he's redshirting anyways. Great development time for him.

uh... if he's not eligible, why would he need to redshirt? i'll hang up and listen now.

Seems like he technically eligible, but will redshirt.

Cause he is enrolling midseason. I assume that means he could play now if we REALLY needed him to.

He really underrated, here is a write up from On3 on him
quote:
“Davin Cosby is a long-armed wing prospect,” On3’s Jamie Shaw writes. “At 6-foot-5 his calling card is his shooting. He has a smooth shooting stroke that extends beyond the three-point line. The release point is consistent and he shoots with great balance. Cosby needs to continue developing off the bounce, some initiation ability would enhance his profile as a prospect, it would also help his ability to create his own shot. Right now he is mostly a spot shooter, letting others create opportunities him. Cosby is a very good athlete in straight lines. He can attack a sloppy closeouts off ball rotation and finish above the rim. He has some toughness, is a solid team defender, and a good rebounder from the wing.”

I cannot stress enough how much I love that we clearly have a type now.

3:30 left in the Villanova Marquette game and there’s been 4 fouls called in the 2nd half. Must be nice to watch free flowing basketball.
I've always liked Big East basketball. Back in the '80's, the Big East was no blood no foul.

Memphis is about to lose to Tulane

Thought it would be Memphis and Houston in their conference. Not a good loss for Memphis

And Tulane had 4 guys foul out. For a team with an average age of like 23 Memphis is surprisingly shitty on the road.
Also, hindsight is 20/20 but I wish we hadn't run off Jaylen Forbes. He has been a really good player for Tulane.

Yeah Forbes has been really good for them for a couple years. We really could've used him last season.

Within reason. That first half of the Houston game almost turned into a brawl. They got control before it was too late, but Houston never adjusted and started fouling like crazy.
