I know it, that was one of the dumbest calls I have ever seen. They were going out of their way to give Miss St every advantage they could.

I don't think they were trying to give Miss St the win or anything but it did seem like they were trying to keep them from getting blown out for some reason.

If they had hit most of their free throws it would've been a 1 or 2-point game and we were clearly the better team by 20+ points without the refs keeping them in it.

I can’t stop thinking about how ridiculous the foul call on the floor was on Griffen’s breakaway layup. His feet were off the ground when his arm got hacked and the ref was standing right there.

That's just what you get with Doug Shows. He's the biggest crowd whore in the country and will T up anyone who calls him out on his bullshite.

idk how Oats didn't get a tech, I would've gotten thrown out if I was the coach.

Speaking of crazy officiating last night, Tennessee shot like 10 more free throws than Ole Miss and were playing @ ole miss.

.

The worst officiated Alabama game I've seen in a long time was when we played @Arkansas two years ago and they literally shot 43 free throws to our 8. Heres the box score Alabama @ Arkansas 20/21 season

I wonder if Shows was on that crew.

Yeah, he plays to the crowd and any borderline call he makes inevitably goes in the home team's favor.

It’s really nice to be sitting here one game in as one of 2 clear favorites to win the conference. Fanduel odds:
Tenn +175
Bama +220
Kent +500
Arkansas +750
Everyone else is at least +1500

I’m so grateful for this team, coaching staff, etc. and all the hard work they’ve put in to get us to this point. There’s a lot of hard work left (especially TOs), but this is really fun to watch.

Tenn is favored in metrics at this point, we play them on the road this year, and their schedule is much easier than ours. I’m surprised the odds are that close given these discrepancies but hoping they will slip up a few times. That road game in Knoxville could be huge if we could find a way to win it, and our length should bother their shorter guards.

It seemed to me that we doubled down on him more than I've seen all year.

Tennessee looks like a worse team than they were last year to me, I’ll be surprised if they win the conference.

That’s because MSU has horrible shooters, despite the garbage that went in last night. Gonzaga makes you pay when you double.

Am I being a homer thinking we will win the conference pretty easily? We should only get better from here on out with Welch and Quinerly getting healthier plus we get Burnett back in a few weeks.

I thought it would be us or Arkansas and looks like they are gonna struggle a bit without Brazile or Smith.

The SEC just doesn't look very good to me this year, Kentucky is down, Auburn is down, Arkansas is dealing with some injuries.

Ill actually be disappointed if we don't win the conference.

I gotta say I don’t remember us ever handling the press as well as we did last night.

Yes. Winning a P-6 conference is never easy. Last night was a good start though. Holding serve at home and going 5-4 on the road is always the goal. 14-4 will be a top 2 finish nearly every year.

Bradley especially did a great job beating their press.
