Are they expected to have a good year?

Well, yeah

They are (preseason) #14 in the AP Poll/#16 in the Kenpom rankings and they look to be a really good squad. It does help that they're coached by Dixon who has a solid career (Pitt was balling out when he was there)

We got smaked in the first half and we never seemed to recover after that

I haven't kept up with anything related to basketball in the off-season. Genuinely had no idea

I'm not worried at all.

Nimari has been our most consistent shooter. Bediako is a inside force so once we put it all together then we will be good.

Jaden Bradley 0 points 0 assists. And only 11 minutes played. Not a good sign.

Noah Clowney looks like he's gonna play a lot of minutes for us.

But we gotta have some guards to make this thing work. Way too many turnovers in that stat sheet.

Bradley hasn’t been fully cleared for that long and is having to work himself back into basketball shape. I imagine it’ll take him 5-6 real games before he’s where a 5* should be rotation wise.

Hope this is a good wake up call after beating China. It also allowed our coaches to see who can play under adversity. Miller lit up the second half. Sears (like everybody) missed shots but 6 rebounds and 4 steals and 4 assists were strong. Clowney rebounded his arse off, led everybody on both teams with 11. I think we can count on Welch and Griffin in tight games. Hope Bediako, Burnett, and JQ get back soon. We need them.

Is this an indication that there are few established PGs going into year in the SEC, or is this more unjust love for a very overrated player?

Really enjoyed the film session and the pace of the @AlabamaMBB practice Brandon Miller reminds me of a young Brandon Ingram and Noah Clowney is a big time prospect. Clowney has great hands, a motor and plays with a edge.
