... So Depressing....
This season, Alabama has consistently crapped the bed every 7th or 8th game...they were overdue for another subpar performance! Frankly I was pleased and surprised that they went through the SEC tourney and made the sweet 16! I believe Oates is a great recruiter and a good but not a great coach.. If Bama can hold onto him they can be a consistent NCAA tourney team.

We straight up shite the bed. Had the perfect path. Until proven otherwise, this is Alabama basketball. 1-9 in Sweet 16's is just unfathomable. I believe Oats is a great coach who coaches what seems to be a cursed program. Anywhere else and he makes it to the Final 4.

I don’t think we’re cursed. We just gave away that last game and it seems the officials really like SDSU. Creighton was screwed by the officials just as we were.

Miami punched their final 4 ticket knocking off big Texas.
Like SDState, FAU, 1st ever Final 4 appearance.
FAU only 45 minutes from Miami.

Hell I’d be fine with them winning it all at this point, but at some point you just have to think that their lack of scoring will catch up with them when another team eventually gets hot.
If they can beat the UConn juggernaut I will bow to them. UConn is one of the most impressive teams I've seen in a few years. How they lost 5 of 6, or whatever it was, at mid-season should be investigated :-).

IMO, Alabama would have needed a Bill Walton (21 of 22) performance from Brandon Miller to have half a chance. Not only is UConn exceptionally strong on O and D and rebounding they are the only team of whom I'm aware can exploit Bama's vulnerability to a great inside passing game.

This is my only consolation to losing - avoiding being embarrassed by UConn. That was actually a 25 point game where Bama got some meaningless baskets late to make it 16 or so.

It's UConn and the 3 mutts, though that's a little unfair to Miami who is a pretty team, but IMO has little chance of winning. The championship game will be a slaughter unless UConn plays on their knees to give the kids a chance. Outside of Conn, there will be 3 people watching by the end of the first half.

Wow. 2 midmajors in the Final 4. March Madness lives on.

I believe we have descended from March Madness into CBB Clown World.

Polite reminder that Drake almost beat Miami. Pray that Darian Devries doesn't end up at a rival school.

People quickly forget last year was Duke, UNC, Kansas, Villanova. It varies from year to year. It’s what makes the tourney so special. I enjoy the new blood at the Final Four, just wish we were a part of it.

I was torn in my bracket this year, because I thought Miami might be able to go on a run, but I also thought Drake could upset them in the first round.

As you might have guessed, of those two scenarios I picked incorrectly.

Well at least I have a consolation prize...I just need Uconn to beat Miami and I'll win my work's bracket pool. If Miami wins then it'll be a 3 way tie so hopefully Uconn keeps dominating.

I'll win like 500 bucks. Not bad.

55 people in my work bracket. Only 1 person had their champion left when the Elite 8 started (UConn). Crazy.

Not really neutral if still played in Arizona.

This might be who comes to Birmingham the following season. Would be a great opponent for that game imo.

I'm in a group of 100 and only 3 of us picked UCONN. I'll finish top 3 if HUskies win it all.
