That’s team on paper is a top 15 team that can get to the 2nd weekend. Oats is gonna have to nail these 2 hires and these last couple of spots for us to be Final 4 good.
But we will never have a group as good as this again. This was National Title good.

Pretending? No we KNOW the National Championship means everything. Stetson won the NC twice. Bama beat him once in the SEC Championship game. Who do you think is remembered more for what?

I’d love to have a guy who can play above the rim next year at the 2 guard. An athletic freak who won’t shy away from going up strong. Never again do I wanna see our starting backcourt being 6’0 and 6’1 again.
Quinerly and Sears both were lackadaisical fighting through screens last night. They didn’t try to fight through them at all.

Quinerly got abused at both ends of the court last night. His guy led all scorers, and he got blocked a bajillion times, couldn’t hit 3’s, and even missed free throws. Miller could never get in a rhythm and with the awful turnovers, was basically a non factor.
Time will hopefully give me some perspective on this team, but right now I’m super disappointed and it’s further ticking me off how all these idiots are acting like Bama got what they deserved.
Maybe months/years will allow me to see this season in a better light. It wouldn’t be terrible if we could look at it like we do the 2008 Bama football season; great, but just the start of something better.

He’s accomplished a lot. I am really just pointing out that amongst the elite, Miller is in a class well above Davison.
Davison is going to be trying to stay on a roster. Miller is projecting to be an all star sooner or later.

But replying to “Mrs” Davison sounds a bit sarcastic. Plus, remains to be seen how well BM will do in the pros. According to some of the experts on this board, BM is a flop who shot less than 20% recently.

Nah, they weren't even Elite 8 good. National Title good doesn't get run off the court by a bad OU team. That game should have told everyone just how "elite" this team was.

This team was great. How many same year SEC regular season and tournament champions have we had? Everybody else outside UK?

We won the SEC regular season and tourney titles. We went as far as any other SEC team in the tourney. Honestly anyone on tRant yucking it up is just doing cope.

Yeah... I just have to remember that some of these guys (our guys) love Basketball as much as I love Football. The way losses hit me in a football season - they are feeling about basketball.
