Have an upvote! Excellent list of other pitiful coaches who didn’t win the NCAAM (yet?) this year.
This team won the SEC TWICE this year. Any other sport, we’d be strutting around like a bunch of Banty (Bantam) roosters. Sorry we can’t celebrate that amazing accomplishment enough.
But the bitching and moaning will subside soon enough and we can go back to holding hope for the future.

Never, ever expect Bama basketball to succeed and you’ll never be let down. They finally tricked me this year into expecting something and I forgot that important lesson.

Anyone who says Brandon Miller needs another year clearly doesn’t watch basketball. Brandon has been the best player all in college. He had a bad game no doubt but he needs to go get paid.
As far as our team goes we have to evolve more on offense. I love having Oats but the sweet sixteen is his ceiling with his current offensive philosophy. When threes aren’t dropping we have no movement just standing around the perimeter waiting for a guard to drive in and get it sent to the stands.
He also needs to change his inbounding philosophy. Having the smallest man inbounding the ball with no movement is a recipe for disaster.
It’s a good problem to have and I’m happy and fortunate that we’re upset about not making the final four. Expectations are high and that’s because of the the good basketball Oats has brought. ROLL TIDE!!!!!

Miller is absolutely gone. As is Clowney. But still a lot to be excited about for next season.

We gotta fill in these last 2 roster spots with physicality

Clowney is more up in the AIR honestly.

One mock draft the other day had Clowney at 14. If he’s a top 15-20 pick, he’s probably gone.

I agree.
When you play a physically imposing team. Refs swallow the whistle. You best bring the heat as well.
Especially when going 3 of 27 or 11% from 3 Land.

Exactly. The 1st possession we ran a set play to Clowey for a basket and 1, and he never scored again.

Great job this year, Chad. Outstanding.

So roster next year:
Gone: Miller, Welch, Gurley
Maybe gone: Clowney, Q
Back: Bradley, Bediako, Griffen, Burnett, Sears, Pringle
That’s a good nucleus coming back. Griffen and Bradley have to develop a bunch. Sears pretty much is what he is at this point. Would be nice if Burnett could start live up to a little of the 5 star ranking.

Half is very charitable, Mrs. Davison, but I know you love your son a lot.

Q will be a grandfather soon
He is our "stetson"

So maybe we will be the 6 seed that overachieves next year.
It’s a very good nucleus for a starting five. Lots of experience there.
With the right addition or two from the portal, 23-24 could be another great year for Bama BKB.

Man where the hell was Bradley last night? We kept trotting out JQ to get his shite rejected at the rim over and over instead of Bradley, who had given great minutes against the other very physical teams we’ve played this year.
Bradley was useless as soon as the Miles story broke.
