Unfortunately. We all suffer from battered spouse syndrome. There's zero reason to continue giving a frick about this program, but we'll all be back for more abuse.

And you just know that after failing to get us past the Sweet 16 a couple more times that whatever school Oats goes to will make multiple Elite 8s and Final 4s under him.

Too many of our guys are upset and mad, posting like UK fans after elimination.
It’s easy to do when you have your best team ever come up short of your naively entitled, self imposed expectations.
They criticize everyone in the program, including players, coaches and boosters. Like the players and coaches aren’t trying their hardest. And the stingy boosters…it’s THEIR F’ing MONEY. Bitching is probably not going to change the way THEY choose to spend it. But maybe positive fan excitement and enthusiasm would. Hmmm, maybe we could try that
Too bad they can’t enjoy the ride and look forward to hopefully being a consistent Top 20 program. Glad their attitude is theirs and not mine this day.

Man where the hell was Bradley last night? We kept trotting out JQ to get his shite rejected at the rim over and over instead of Bradley, who had given great minutes against the other very physical teams we’ve played this year.

That changed the whole program. Instead of our mainly FOG boosters going all in For Basketball and dropping nonstop large NIL bags to make sure we get back it will now be Oats working with scraps.

Way too many regulars going full melt right now. I’ve been following Bama basketball for over 2 decades and they are trying to say Oats has now turned into Mark Gottfried. Relax…it’s basketball. Things happen.
We owned the SEC, beat AU in OT after getting their hopes up to cut down the nets, crushed A&M to win the SECT (who got destroyed in the 1st rd of the Tourney), and were very close to making the Elite 8 twice in 3 years. Yes, we lost both S16 games and it’s disappointing. But the world isn’t collapsing…Basketball championships aren’t easy…at all. Ask Mark Few, Rick Barnes, heck, even Bruce Pearl. Calipari won 1 at KY, even with stacked rosters. Our Coach has been at a power 5 program for 4 years, taken them to places they hadn’t gone in decades in that short time, mostly with using freshman this year, and you guys are acting like Auburn fans because we had 3-4 things go against us and lost a close game in the S16. Maybe put the phone down for a week until you snap back to reality that basketball is just a sport, not life and death.

Honestly he NEEDS to come back, he isn't ready. Not close. He needs to put on some weight get stronger and work on his ball handling he's got JD Davison written all over him right now after that tournament.

The only change needed to be made about Oats offense is I think when we get in these offensive slogs we need to start running more plays instead of letting guys freestyle it like we normally do.
The thing I love about Oats is he runs concepts and lets guys have freedom to run those concepts and philosophies. IMO when we get in these offensive funks we need to start running more designed plays.
