It’s one of the major issues that keep me from getting overly invested in CBB.
When one set of officials can just unilaterally decide to let a game turn into a rugby scrum and the next crew calls it like an NBA game you are directly impacting the outcome of a game.
Tennessee would’ve had every starter with 2 fouls in the 1st half with an NBA crew today just like they would’ve in Knoxville against Bama.
Instead they are being allowed to grab, hold and elbow into a multiple score lead in a game against a team that is vastly more talented then they are.
I don’t blame Tennessee for doing it because they can’t win any other way, I blame the officials and those who oversee them for allowing them to decide the outcome of games through ignoring the rule book whenever they choose.

I get while people don’t like him, and I wouldn’t expect Oats to be buddy buddy with him either. He just doesn’t bother me personally and I think his teams play a fun brand of ball. He’s goofy, quirky, pushes people’s buttons… maybe he’s whiny and a sore loser, but opposing fans would say the same about Oats.

Long way to go obviously but just pointing out there is a way that 6 SEC teams could be in the E8. Wild. Not a fan of that outcome, though.
