Give me a win over Arkansas and an early exit in the SEC tournament and a 5-6 seed and I’m fine with it. Get some rest and be ready.

CNO has obviously done a great job, but every single one of his teams has peaked too early in his first five years. His teams always get worse, not better down the stretch. It's a concerning pattern.

This isn't entirely wrong. Last year, they were strong, until the sweet 16 game. Other years, yes, they've fizzled

Yeah, I'm just hoping for a win Saturday to get to 21-10 and get their one win in the SEC tourney.

The shooting took a dive late in conference play last year. They were just an elite defensive team, so they could D up and grind their way to some wins this team will lose handedly.

Last year, they struggled the last three weeks of the regular season, recovered in the SEC tournament, and then faceplanted in the NCAA tournament. Last year's team played their best ball in January/ early February, just as every one of Oats' teams have.

We're not talking about 50 year old guys having to play a string of softball games.
If they lose early, it just means more practice days. It's not like they're gonna just prop their feet up and nap til Selection Sunday

Nah, 9 point game at half. Alabama could win. I think they're out of gas, so they're gonna have to dig down.

We have the second half left.
However, Bama put up a disappointing performance in the first half. Do you think there will be a lot of positive comments?

I'm not worried about Sears...he's coming.

Two things:

Grant Nelson attack the basket aggressively.

Get Latrell Wrightsell Jr more shots...BALL GAME

Jelly legs. Is this a legit issue? Tons of early season offense, followed by the understanding that the only way to move on in the NCAAT is to have it going at both ends. With the emphasis on defense, does it influence the offense? I don't know

That can happen to teams that play fast.. Our lack of physicality in the paint kills us against a big, strong teams.

Florida has scored on basically every possession since the 10:00 mark and we are bricking everything from the arc and barely drawing rim on shots in the lane, so barring some miracle it’s over. Completely lost offensively with them playing tight man on the arc and pushing Sears and Estrada right. Honestly we had no business winning the first game against them but we somehow managed to scratch one out.

Florida is trash defensively.

I just said if Mark Sears stay patient...it'll come easy.

Well, it started to happen down the stretch.

Get Latrell Wrightsell Jr on the floor.

20 minutes is quite a long time and we can win if we don't give up on defense and focus a little more on offense.
