Tuesday's matchup is also highlighted by two of the best scorers in the conference in Alabama's Mark Sears (No. 1, 19.4 ppg) and South Carolina's Meechie Johnson (No. 3, 18.2 ppg).
The Broadcast
Tuesday's game is set for a 6 p.m. CT tipoff and will be aired on the SEC Network with Dave Neal (play-by-play) and Jon Sunvold (analyst) on the call.

Not sure what I did to the auburn fanbase
Never let Auburn become a success in ANY sport. They are like a bad smell on your clothes and they only go away when that success is taken away. For example, they were a doormat in gymnastics for years and then Suni Lee comes to town and they are all of a sudden the biggest gymnastics fans/experts you ever met. Same with softball a few years ago. Noticed that they are nowhere to be found now that they are mediocre in both. Their thing now is basketball.

Pio whats your thoughts on the Muss strategy of attacking the portal for large portions of the team? Its high risk/high reward, and normally he wins the portal more than he loses.
But with how its looking thus far (and still too early to count out Arkansas) do you have anything you wish he’d do differently with roster construction?

Any of you baws heading to Coleman tonight? I’ll be there. Hopefully we can have it at least 75% capacity

I'll be there with my oldest. Hopefully the crowd is decent with a 6pm tip. Home crowds have been disappointing so far.

With FB over, does that mean it gets FOGgier around here? Or have they checked out, and the traffic on this board overall slows down?

This is a tough game tonight. South Carolina is 42nd in NET and is currently a 10 seed according to BracketMatrix. Will definitely be a good win

Yeah they’re solid. On Kenpom they’’re 56th, 5 spots below Indiana State who we played earlier in the season.
I hope we close the game better than we have been. When you get 10, 15 points ahead its time to put them away, not take your foot off the gas and let them back in it.
I blame a little of that on Oats, he went with some bad lineup combinations when Vandy made their run to get back in it imo. Guess he thought we were far enough ahead we could experiment woth different lineups but it almost backfired, they almost came all the way back.

South Carolina has big BJ Mack who we recruited a little bit out of the portal from Wofford. We didnt pursue him too hard cause we thought Bediako was coming back at the time.
They’ve also got Meechie Johnson who is the 3rd highest scoring guard in the SEC so far this season (18 points) behind Sears (19.4 points) and Antonio Reeves from Kentucky (19 points).

I believe he was ahead of his time before the transfer portal thing happened. But now, I believe everything is equal.

I wish we had a true big man. A 6'10-7ft 270 pound plus guy.

I think we will be covering most of the game. We screw up a lot of late game stuff and they pull within 8 or 9 in garbage time

Sounds about right we’ve been blowing people out at home.

South Carolina seems very confident that they can take us. Read views of some of their fans on a USc board.
