To say @AlabamaMBB has had “unfortunate circumstances” in the NCAA Tournament would be an understatement.

I have been arguing this for years. It also seems to happen in the SEC tournament. Seems like every year we are matched up with Kentucky and we all know Kentucky becomes the Boston Celtics when it comes to tourney time.

Generally I agree, but last year.......does not fit that same historical narrative.

#16 seed, #8 seed, #5 seed, #6 seed, #9 seed leading up to the title game.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. BUT more often than not it's not this way

What is our full strength starting five gonna look like? Maybe

Sears
Estrada
Griffin
Nelson
Wague

I haven’t kept up with this offseason as much as normal.

Thats probably right but with Pringle at the 5 instead of Wague.

Assuming we use a 9 man rotation I think the top 9 guys will be, in no particular order…

Estrada
Sears
Griffen
Nelson
Pringle
Walters
Wrightsell
Stevenson
Wague

Cosby should play a good bit too when he’s healthy, forgot about him.

John Calipari says on pregame radio that he asked Kentucky State to not play zone tonight.

Said he hasn't had time to focus on that aspect yet with this 2023-24 team.

Sounds like UK's Friday practice will have a big focus on zone offense and zone defense.

Kentucky State coach should have told him to frick off.

As much as I hate to say it I think this is gonna be Arkansas' best team since Musselman has been there.

Thats how I feel but at the same time this is also the toughest the sec has been. I feel like it if we finish in the top 5 of the conference that is an outstanding year.

hopefully Pringle’s defense has improved if so. He definitely flashed at times last season but had a bad foul streak.

Yes, afraid so. It's interesting to see how after experimenting with spending his unlimited NIL money on all the 5 star freshmen last year, Musselman went back to spending on the transfer portal. I like our transfer guys a lot, but he really loaded up on proven veterans there.
