Somebody needs a bottle needs a nap. It will be ok. What’s Elon got to do with anything Bama?

Really wish we’d just sit Proctor. Let him have his surgery and get ready for next year. Let a couple of the younger guys get some reps and get good experience for next year. 10 win season would be fantastic but I’d like to prepare for future.

These players saying they haven't given their football future much thought reminds me of Saban's rhetoric back when Bama was trying to hire him while at Miami. In other words, just playing the game. I guarantee they already know what they're going to do, just fulfilling their current NIL obligations.

Some (most) of these media pieces are a complete waste of time. Just fluff pieces to keep the beat writers busy and the fans with nothing better to do more content to consume about their teams.

Interestingly, Wommack's comments revealed more than any of the players. In this article about Justin Jefferson potentially returning on the "Diego Pavia rule," he mentions the possibility of losing all three of the contributing inside linebackers from this year.

Wommack on Jefferson

I think we all assumed that Campbell would be leaving, but Lawson leaving would kind of surprise me, based on the injury and I don't think his tools are on the level of Campbell's. It'd be great to have Lawson and Jefferson ready to go inside next year.

----

My guesses on the pros:
Booker, Campbell, Milroe, Lawson, and Jackson leave, everyone else will return (or transfer)

*EDIT - I added Lawson to the leaving list just based on listening to Wommack's post-practice PC. Check it out for yourself here: Wommack post-Reliaquest practice

I hope we keep Lawson and Jackson. Speculation out there now that Bernard might declare. Hope that is wrong.
