Off topic but relevant news: RGIII was fired by ESPN today. Why was he hired to begin with is my question.

Tremendous picture. And that’s from a person who wouldn’t vote GOP for dog catcher.

To return the thread from a political derailing
this thread is dedicated to TidalSurge, its meant to or possibly even destined to be derailed.

, I did not wake up thinking someone would enrich my life by insinuating this about RGIII but here it is. I knew the man loved his wife but now this!?!?! I just picture the ESPN exec patting Andrew Luck on the shoulder and going "There is nothing I can do, he has a Heisman, that makes your qualifications nearly equal. It just ain't right, what am I going to tell Matt Barkley?"

Agreed. Listening to him call the USF game last year was like getting a root canal without Novocain.

More crushing was Samantha Ponder being fired. My all-time favorite female sports media personality. So freakin' hot still to this day.

Yes, let’s have a little reality: if JM is as bad as you indicate it’s disappointing to consider Alabama’s dismal future with its backup QBs. Hopefully Keelon will makes us forget Simpson, Lonergan, et al. Will you be as willing to excoriate them?

Kind of weird seeing a bunch of guys and coaches who could barely point out Alabama on a map a year ago trying to sing yea Alabama. In time it will be home.
