Just going by what coaches have said and the ADay game.

It’s not like Milroe even has to make a Joe Burrow type leap in order for Alabama to challenge for a title.
Exactly. We made it to the playoffs and our offense was the worst it’s been since Shula was HC and we had to trot out a walk on RB and Brandon Avalos.
- Our OL had major issues. Not just with snapping, but across the board.
- our RBs were the weakest they’ve been in the Saban era.
-Our WRs were serviceable, but a drastic drop off from what we’ve been used to for the last 8-10 years.
- Coaching at OC, WR, and OL sucked. Plain and simple.
Stop blaming Milroe for every deficiency. It was across the board suckage and we still almost won a NC.
Competent coaching, another year of maturity for players, and getting better players at certain positions will allow the offense to be pretty damn good IMHO, or at the very least, the problem with the offense will be identified.

Run the dam ball and I would like to see more passes to the TE's when it is not just a possession down and we need 6-7 yards. We need at least one TE who has the speed you see in the NFL.

Our OL was good enough!
Our RB's was good enough!
Our WR's stayed running wide open!
Our OC did pretty darn good once he started using Milroe's strengths to his advantage.
Milroe missed WIDE open people in big games. (These are FACTS)
We didn't run a FULL offense because the OC was handicapped. (Milroe wasn't ready for that yet)
Will he be this year is the question mark!

You can’t actually believe we won the SEC, made it to the playoffs, went to overtime and almost won with the worst coaching and players we have had in the Saban era. Seems like some revisionist history just to make Milroe’s upside look better.
I’m sure it’s possible Milroe can improve, one thing we can all agree on is the guy has plenty of room for improvement. I’m just concerned of how big a leap it is from the simple things he was asked to do previously, versus what he will need to do for the new offense. I’m not sure how much improving that will be.
I’m hopeful he can improve, but if he can’t hopefully there is another option. I don’t want to hear that shite again about simplifying the offense so he can be successful.

will never understand this line of thinking. Fans don’t get to give shots. All this talk has no impact on if he gets a shot or doesn’t
It’s quite simple if you aren’t being obtuse. How about not shitting on a kid before you have seen how the work he has put in during the offseason has elevated his game.

He just said PRs were Bernard, Mbakwe, and Adams.

Man, if we can get back to being a disciplined team, that's going to go a long way. We shot ourselves in the foot so many times over the second half of Saban's tenure with penalties, I know it drove him crazy
