If Milroe had Hurt’s pocket awareness and ability to know when to run he would be lethal. Just throw a bomb or beat everyone with your feet. It’s such a shame the dude still hasn’t figured out when to take off. I think he’s worried about his perception as a passer.

How do you or any one of us KNOW that JM hasn't improved?

If.....

if.....

if.....

Go ahead and if yourself to death. It's not gonna change anything. Let's all reconvene after the Georgia game.

I love the fact that Ty Simpson has stuck it out and is apparently locked in with Bama football. I love that he seems like a great kid. But people still coming on here and proclaiming him the better QB over Jalen Milroe absent any evidence still baffles me.

That anyone thinks that first the greatest college coach of all time and then his highly sought after replacement would both start Jalen over Ty for any reason other than Jalen is the better QB is laughable.

Not to mention to think that the team, who sees them both in practice everyday, would push for Jalen over Ty if Ty was clearly better is crazy. These guys are playing for life changing NFL money and they'd let their performance suffer with an inferior QB because they like him better?

And finally are we really supposed to believe that Ty Simpson is just gonna keep hanging around on a team where the other players are keeping him from playing? Really? If there was really some conspiracy to keep Jalen QB1 by the players Ty would have hit the portal last December.

He's said as much in response to dipshit Bill O'Brien saying he should switch to RB. I really think that messed up his mentality a little bit in regards to committing to running the football.

Plus he watched Bryce Young slide around in the pocket for two years like a slippery magician while keeping his eyes downfield as long as possible before making some incredible throws. Who wouldn't want to emulate BY?

I hope DeBoer can unleash the beast this year. We all know how good Milroe can be if he even marginally improves on some of his weaknesses.

Man these mother frickers that purchased the LANK Level membership to the Jalen Milroe fan club are the most sensitive men on earth.

For those of us who clearly struggle with the fundamentals of reading comprehension, the discussion taking place, which I replied to, was a comparison between the ability of Hurts and Milroe, and my comment was on their compared ability to escape when pressured.

Obviously what anyone has been able to observe to date has been in game play, as in seasons past. So it is not matter of if Milroe has improved, of if he has developed some secret ability that no one has yet to witness, it’s a matter of what he skills he has previously exhibited.

To date Milroe has not show that he is capable to improve his ability to understand defenses and read pressure to the point where he comprehends what’s going on around him when it comes to making a good decision on when to try and escape the pocket on a consistent basis during game play.

Again, if Milroe could make the decision on when to run like Jalen Hurts could he would be lethal, but he can’t, so he isn’t.

If that was in response to my post Alfie I was mainly venting about this statement by someone else. You just happened to be the last post so I hit reply on yours.

Nah man it wasn’t, It was to the if if if post by dominantD.

I think everyone is entitled to their option, and those opinions usually bring about good discussion, which is all you were doing.

I just do not like it when people want to shut people up. Don’t tell me to wait til after the UGA game to comment on Jalen, because he might have magically somehow picked up a skill he has never been able to develop, that’s just stupid. I hope he is improved come the end of the month, and if he is improved I will be thrilled, and I honestly hope he starts every game, because he seems like he is a good dude, but to expect him to improve on a level not seen since Joe Burrow is unrealistic.

Here’s some food for thought for those doubting that Milroe might be massively improved from last season. How many of you recall how incredibly terrible Blake Sims was during A-Day 2014? I do, and I figured if he was the starter that year that it was gonna be a long, ugly season of Alabama football. We know how that turned out.

So, how many of you would give a ton of credit to Lane Kiffin for Sims’ improvement and development that season? If so, then why not remain open to the possibility of Milroe making a big leap in 2024? I’m not saying it will happen, but neither myself nor any one of you KNOWS how it will turn out.

After the defense was dying from being on the field all night. Clemson ran 99 plays that night.

Without getting called for a single hold against arguably the best front 7 we've ever had.

I can't wait to see him start...in 2025. I like the guys who stick around and keep working hard. Those are the guys you really like to see succeed, like Mac Jones did.

It only takes 1 great season to play your way into the first round of the draft and you would think Ty would be the clear leader to start in 2025. I'm thinking Milroe is going to have a big season.

Blake Sims was always good and slick with the zone read. Kiffin built on that by adding a one read passing game with a DOMINANT wide receiver in Cooper. It was simplified reads with a lot of window dressing and great play calling.

With JM4 we dont have a dominant WR. We dont have the ZR concepts really either. That was usually bad news last year. But we should have a really good run game. We need to win games with our RBs. None of this "give me the heisman" shite from last year.
