For those asking how Parker Brailsford’s snaps have looked, here are several snaps from Brailsford to Jalen Milroe today at practice
look at those beautiful snaps hitting him right in the hand. The ball is even at the exact right angle.

I hope we never wear white helmets or make any changes to the uniforms.

Dude, I simply went to the Rolltide.com website and pulled those stats directly from the box score of that game. You can't dispute facts. Look for yourself.

103 yards net rushing and six sacks allowed. You can't revise history and facts.

Was the 2012 OL a dominant, well-coached unit later in that season? Certainly. And Stoutland has been a fixture as one of the top OL coaches in the NFL since then.

It's absolute bullshite the NCAA new Michigan were cheating but were too much cowards to ban them from the post season and will now ban their average team this year as if they even had a chance to win it all.

It's even more pathetic to give Jim Harbaugh a 4-year ban when he has no desire to return.

Coward crap, that showed teams they should cheat to win.

Yet they wanted to kill our program because we outbid fat Phil and one of our players sold his books. Absolutely ridiculous!

That's sort of like saying the 2019 offense wasn't great by citing the Citadel game. They mailed it in. The 2011 team did the same the year before vs Georgia Southern.

The guy I was responding to is predicting the first 3 games to be terrible OLine play. Literally the first game of 2012 was Michigan and they annihilated them the whole game.

If what he did was so bad why wasn't the school punished more harshly

I mean, other than a bowl ban, it wasn't scott free:
An $8 million fine
Five years of probation
A reduction of 28 football scholarships over five years
A reduction of 36 official visits over the course of probation
A reduction of 40 weeks of unofficial visits
A 28-week ban on recruiting communications
An additional fine of $5,000, 3% of the football budget and an additional fine to recoup money earned while the program was ineligible during the 2020 Gator Bowl
And, vacation of wins, stats, records

That said, they did throw Pruitt and accused coaches to slaughter and were credited for a high level of transparency and cooperation in the investigation process

Don't forget the NCAA took 21 wins away from Alabama because 5 players gave their books away.

That was the biggest sham verdict in the history of the Ncaa

Alabama gained 328 net yards of offense against Western Kentucky in game 2 of the 2012 season. Only rushed for 103 net yards and gave up 6 sacks in the game.

We had also just played a gang buster of a game against a Top 10 Michigan squad the week before, gaining 232 yards net rushing on a 5.5 yards per carry average. To go from Michigan to Western Kentucky you kind of expect a bit of a let down game. We rushed for over 200 yards the very next week against Arkansas.

Yep. The second game after a big opening game was always a tough spot for Alabama. I remember us struggling against Tulane in 2008 after the big win over Clemson the first game.

It’s foolish to predict something like the OL being a juggernaut from the opening kickoff of the year, and I won’t be doing that. Frankly, I prefer opening the season with a couple of relative cupcakes to get our sea legs under us and perhaps see what sort of depth is behind the starters. I’m referring to every position, not just OL.

We are all hoping that the 2024 version of the OL is not grossly overhyped, AKA “Pancake Posse 2.0”. At least we know this group is in collectively better condition than that debacle was.

I don't think he was disagreeing with your post.

It's pretty fricking impressive that it took you 7 years to finally post something.

I also have a confession to make.

When we signed Daniel Hill I thought it was a mistake and he wasn't good enough to play any meaningful snaps for us.

After watching him in these practice videos he looks like a future stud.

He has the build of a Junior and looks smooth as frick running and catching the ball.

Don’t sweat it. We knew you couldn’t evaluate running backs when you said Cam Akers would be better than Najee

Hey now.

Give me a little credit for hometown bias. He led my high school to our one and only state title as a Senior.

Yeah I knew that was why. And he wasn’t bad. Would’ve looked a lot better with us than FSU

As for our RB group, consider that Dillon Johnson was basically a one-man show for Washington last season. He was pretty productive, and wasn't even drafted. It's not a stretch to say that all three of Bama's top RBs are more talented than this guy is. And Daniel Hill might be too. Certainly all of them were more highly recruited.

None of the new coaches on this staff has ever had the amount and quality of talent at their disposal. But the Huskies were a very well-coached and experienced team in 2023, as was Michigan. Both of them had a major experience edge over the Tide.
