This is one tradition I hope is retained. Like I totally understand that KDB has to be allowed to do his own thing and run his own program, but pissing off the media by refusing to discuss depth charts and then finally releasing a bullshite one where all 22 positions have an OR on either the first or second team must continue.

Yeah it seemed like the split/night practice for newbies stopped once early enrollment became the norm. Back in the day it was incredibly rare to have players come in early. Now it’s incredibly rare for them not to. So by the time camp starts they’ve gone through spring, offseason, etc. they’re pretty integrated and should know what to do.

Nah that tradition needs to die. Every player knows depth charts change through the season and it's not written in stone for the full year. Saban barely having any information leak out was frustrating as a fan. Him acting like we may find out who is impressing is somehow an advantage for the opponent was a joke.

Starting next season if I'm reading this correctly the roster will expand to 95 or 105 ? and all of them will get paid a salary which would be in addition to any NIL deals they struck. With that being said I think it's silly to have the rules about having to be in shorts for a number of practices. Heck if they are getting paid why are they not having mini camps in the summer like all the other pro players are.

Probably shouldn’t be an ncaa restriction anymore but a collective bargained one.
NFL has things like this too so it’ll always be a thing just under a different hat.

Pretty sure it is the same tower. I didn’t know anyone still went up in it, but you can clearly see some people up there.
