That’s great for a guy who seemingly forgot how college hashmarks are wider after one year in the NFL.

Would love to simply keep all of our time outs in the first quarter, in addition to no trick plays on short yd situations.

What he's describing is a coaching issue. Coaches don't have them ready to play. And here we are after 14 games and still dealing with this.

Basically, he gave DeBoer a reason to fire the entire offensive staff. The fact that this is still an issue after 14 games is entirely on the coaches.

Agree. This guy is terrible. CKD needs to cut him loose in the offseason

My gosh this site is fricking loaded with trolls.

Don't be an effing moron. We have the worst running game in over 100 years of Alabama football. Ultimately, the coaching staff is responsible for that. Apparently, you think that's acceptable.

I'm not saying he should be fired. I am saying that DeBoer must hold him accountable, instead of being his friend. And yeah, if there isn't improvement next year, he absolutely should be fired.

To be fair, we also didn't start with great field possession in the first Q and a half it didn't seem.

That’s true but it seemed like he finally said, “F-it, if we’re going down we’re going down swinging.”

I think you could make an argument for firing the OLC this offseason but I think he is 100% gone after next season without marked improvement.

Let's remember the 2024 OL was also dogshit. The zone read threat kept the numbers looking minimially acceptable but we couldn't get a damn thing going with tailback runs in 2024 either. We all assumed it was Milroe mis-reading plays but it seems like it may have been more structural.

Anxious to see what's drawn up for Jam Miller first down 1 yard runs.

We play our best when we do this. We can win the national championship this year doing that.

This is true. When Ty doesn’t obsess and just plays, he can be phenomenal.

Also, when we dump the ball to a back or tight end quickly for 5 yards on first down, staying ahead of the chains, he is really good.

Thank you. No where close to being a troll. Love Alabama and just don’t care for the OC.

I don't think our OC has done poorly enough to justify a one year firing. I'm mostly on the boat that position coaches should get two seasons unless the performance is colossally bad.

The only position coaches that I think are in terminated for performance territory are Kapilovic (OLC) and Gillespie (RBC).

Gillespie is in his 5th year and his only 1000 yard rusher was Brian Robinson in 2021 (a player he inherited from the prior RBC). That is dog shite.

Kapilovic seemingly has no clue on who to invest into and get ready to play at a high level. All this rotating on the OL is dumbass work.

There is a reason Grubb was one and done in the NFL. Wouldn't bother me if he is the same at Bama.

Along with the OL,RB,and ST coaches.

I don't think our head coach is canning an OC he rose up the ranks together with...I think it is more likely that Grubb gets his pick for an OLC that better fits his needs than Coach Kap. Furthermore, he's not the best OC I've seen in Tuscaloosa in my lifetime but he's hardly been so bad that he a one-and-done.
