I am referring to the targeted poaching of current players. A lot of which I would imagine would fall under the tampering rules. However it’s the wild Wild West out there right now..before Saban retired.

I am worried about the coaches out there like a Kirby who would sell his mothers soul to convince a player to jump.

Curious about Domani Jackson. He was meeting with Nick personally at Rose Bowl practice. Crazy how hard Saban was recruiting and then just retired. It’s still weird to me.

I’d imagine most of the starters will want to stay. They’re starting at Bama. What better options are there out there that’s realistic? Guys like Keon Keeley and James Smith worry me.

Downs needs to be our defensive cornerstone... Georgia and Ohio St are coming hard for him. Would be refreshing to see some school loyalty... although I know that's a foreign concept these days.

Money will drive alot of this. Some will enter the portal and stay, others will enter and exit. Much will depend on what sort of raise they get.

Thank goodness for the portal. Saban didn’t use it as much as some other schools, but it could absolutely help bridge roster issues until DeBoer recruits his own guys.
