It’s political. ESPN hates our university and program. They’ve demonized us

Espn needs a bad guy, they did the same with Usc when they were winning. But to leave Bama out would be financially retarded as we bring millions of viewers with us.

They need to take out the HUMAN element in these rankings!! There’s always going to be controversial rankings with humans involved…lol

If bama drops out with a loss, then teams will opt out of conf champs going forward, just like players opt out of games. If it can hurt you, don’t play.

It’s simple. Alabama is a republican state and Disney is ultra liberal. People can scoff at me for saying that but it’s the truth. It sucks. I hate that our team and coaches have to deal with this BS.

Agree but they did just that last year. Whether we deserved to get in or not, they could have justified putting us in last year and didn't.

The other conferences all want more seats at the table than they deserve compared to the historical excellence of this modern SEC where 56% of it is in the all-time top 25 by winning percentage in the FBS. The SEC should just divorce themselves from the remora, make their own tournament, and invite the Big Ten to play a Super Bowl game alternating between Rose and Sugar every year.

Not a single one of those “experts”make any decision at all involving rankings.

If they dropped us for some reason Tuesday than we know we have to win if not I think we are good regardless.

Also, BYU is about to get dragged across the field for 60 mins by TT. So that’s a non factor.

Who brings more eyeballs, Bama, BYU, or Miami? We have to be huge Texas Tech fans and hope they stomp the snot out of BYU again to end that conversation. Miami can’t even fill up Hard Rock Stadium so don’t even go there with me.

Miami to me has to jump 2 spots. So unlikely not impossible.

BYU to me is the threat if they beat TT and we lose to UGA.

That’s basically my opinion.

TTU is favored by 12.5 points right now. Hopefully they get the job done.

And none of the playoff predictors you've posted make any decision at all involving rankings, yet you feel pretty confident that they're accurate.

I hope for your sanity we either beat UGA, or if we lose, don't get pushed out by the Committee due to a third loss.

Just the fact it accurately predicted us being left out last year? So not totally worthless. LOL.

My sanity is intact, I’m just using logic. Although not to say the committee is always logical.

Well yeah.

Knowing that 11 is the ACC champ baring Virginia not shitting the bed and 12 being G5. The only team to worry about is BYU. Miami will probably go to 11 and BYU to 12. That’s the least turmoil for the committee. Very few groups saying Miami should jump and the ones that do say ND should be out completely which isn’t happening with this committee.

Yeah you're a nut job.

How about Alabama is the best team in CFB history and everyone hates Bama because they wanna be Bama.. so they want at all cost for Alabama to lose.

The real problem is ND is ranked ahead of bama despite not beating another team with a pulse. Meanwhile bama has the best win in the top 10 teams and a ridiculously harder SoS than ND. That’s all that the SEC should be saying over and over again.

If we get left out this year, Byrne should cancel all difficult out of conference games and schedule teams like Eastern Illinois, Western Carolina for our cupcakes and Purdue, Wake Forest, Maryland, Boston College, etc for our required Power 5 team. Screw playing 9 SEC games AND a hard OOC game, all it does is punish you for a loss even if it’s a top 10 team.

I mean, some of the teams you listed are better than FSU.

It sucks being in this spot but we lost games and have now left our fate to whatever arbitrary criteria the committee chooses.

Or we could just go beat Georgia and take care of it that way.
