I had the misfortune of attending the 2000 game with my father. Pretty sure it's the only time in my life I ever heard my dad swear.

this is the only game i have been to where Bama quit in the 4th. I was beyond pissed at CMD. I thought at the time, that he was the right hire for the program.

I was in the stadium for the 2000 game. It was a long ride back to Selma

The 2000 season was brutal, including the shutout loss to USM. The Golden Eagles QB that season was Jeff Kelly.
He bought a small yacht with the money he made as a backup QB with the Seattle Seahawks, named it "Beat the Tide."

I was there that night. Was screaming about pass interference until I realized what happened.

That 82 game in Denny is the day (JMO) Coach Bryant made the call to hang up his spikes. USC beat us pretty good that day.

I got to the game just as they were kicking off... by the time I got into the stadium, it was 0-14... but remember Bama fighting back and then on the march to score "The" td, Paul Ott Carrunth broke his leg and to add insult to injury, he fumbled the ball to USM. They marched down the field to score the sealing TD to take the 38-29 win... I remember this because of the shock and awe-shitte... it created. I was just nearing the end of my marriage and was entertaining a new lady friend who was "not from here" and was going to show her what all the hype and excitment was about... made the drive back home not so good; but ... well will leave that right here

I grew up with USM being on the schedule almost annually and I would welcome them to be a regular now.
