Thing about traps is you can avoid them if you know where they are. I also think this is a trap game, we need to prepare the right way and avoid it.

This is not a knock on you but only my experience at USC back at the game in 2010. You guys played out your butts and won fairly easily against a Bama team that had won it all the year before and had as much talent as I can remember in the Saban era. They should have repeated but clearly let down on the gas that year.

I went to the game with my uncle, who was a Bama season ticket holder. We sat up high in the upper bowl and when the game was over I actually feared for my safety. I have never experienced anything like it. Everyone we walked past was flipping us off, cussing us out and threatening to fight as we walked back to our cars. It was a pathetic showing by your fan base. And it was not just a few bad apples. It was 50+% of the people after the game.

I hope we absolutely destroy your team.

South Carolina a Trap Game?

Literally meets the definition.

It will be a coaching and team leadership challenge to keep the team level headed and hungry.

I think it is a character defining game for this team. Can they avoid the let down, focus on the task at hand and win on the road against a team they should easily beat.

USCe and AU are the two games left on the schedule that set up for potential let downs. I think LSU and OU will be solid performances by the Tide

Struggle wins or not. Just need another W by the end of the game

Huge difference between this team and 2010.

This year’s offensive line is completely lost, and the play calling is putrid. Shula couldn’t call plays if he had Chat GPT do it for him.

The only thing the offensive line does consistently is they pick up Sellers off the ground quickly.

ETA: just to give some context to how non-existent this offense has been this year, thru 7 games they have scored 12 touchdowns. That comes to 1.7 per game. Even against South Carolina State the offense only scored twice in the 38 points scored. (Two punt returns, one scoop and score)

I have not been to SC since 2001 (we lost that one too) but I get similar vibes from their fanbase over the years. Very intense, angry, and classless in general. Not sure what is up with that. I know Bama has a lot of "classless' fans but that is just he sheer number of Bama fans out there.

So you're saying we beat the Cocks handily?

Agreed. If we come out and take care of business, then that says a lot about the growth of this team and the program.

ou can expect their QB to play his best game of the year.

Never fails.

It's still the same...beat Alabama and it makes your season. Will be the same for lsu and definitely the Barn.

This is always the correct answer... and you forgot to add a QB from Okie wants us just as much.

Glad to survive this. This week off is desperately needed. Proud of the team for getting through that gauntlet. I’m highly encouraged by this team’s competitive character.

We walked right into the trap but came out the other end with the prize. Take the good with the bad. Win and advance...

It was the most obvious trap game in the history of trap games and everyone recognized it was a trap game and said it was a trap game and it was still a trap game.

We survived it though, this team is way more resilient now
