With DJ Dale and Tim Smith around it wouldn’t shock me. I’d like to see Ish stick around and work his way into shape and the rotation but he may want an easier path?

Well connected poster on BOL: "As far as I know, Sopsher is expected to be a part of the rotation this season."

Hope he does stick around . He has enormous potential if he applies himself . He moved well I thought against Western Carolina and with the new S&C coaches I think he could flourish

"Was told Ishmael Sopsher was at UA this week with the team. There have been a few of you asking questions about transfer rumors that started in Louisiana but it appears they are not true. As Potter reported earlier in the week he wasn't in the portal and now we have confirmed he's still there. Just an FYI." -- Tim Watts (BOL)

I hope Ish gives LSU hell as long as he's a part of Alabama's program.

They never got over Landon Collins or Nick Saban leaving that hell hole of a state or 21-0...

Ishmael Sopsher has been the most impressive DL in workouts so far according to BOL
This thread can now RIP.

"Earlier in the week when rumors emerged in Louisiana that Ishmael Sopsher was possibly transferring, I was told he was at Bama and doing great and then the follow ups all said the same thing. Multiple people have told me he has really stood out so far in workouts. One source said he was the most impressive DL so far. Granted it’s a short sample size but every person who mentioned him had nothing but good things to say about his work so far and to expect good things this year." -- Tim Watts (Thread)
