UGA is the better team. Bama will need for the Dawgs to stump their toe a few times if we're to win. I am very disappointed in the entire defensive staff of this version of Bama. Pete gets the most heat but the others are just as much to blame. All this started when Nick promoted Tosh to DC (to avoid losing him as a recruiter/coach) once Pruitt left and we've been trending downward since then. We don't have a Bell Cow on defense to lead. Seldom to you see a bunch with so little football savvy out of 11-15 players.

I think, as has been noted, the thing I just truly just don't know the answer to is whether Georgia will be able to run between the tackles. If Georgia can get 3-4 yards on 1st down with the run and allow Bennett to get into 2nd and 6 and 3rd and 3......we are going to be in deep, deep shite. Monken will be able to use his whole playbook - WR screens, quick play-action crosses to RBs/TEs that our LBs will be 4 steps behind, mix in runs, etc. If Georgia is forced into 3rd and 7s then I think we have a shot, but even then we're pretty big fvck ups and will give up some 1st downs.

I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what to expect with our offense vs Georgia's defense. We will have some good drives, a few big pass plays, etc.....but we'll also get stopped in the red zone and have some 3 and outs. Somewhere between 24-34 points seems about right for us.

In conclusion, who the frick knows. Should be fun though. Not the weekend I think most of us were hoping it would be 6-8 months ago when we all looked forward to this game in the regular season, but better than not playing it at all for sure.

Honestly, we have 5 frickin NLCS games between now and UGA-Alabama. That's gonna be an emotional eternity. By the time this game rolls around, I might already be dead of a stress-induced heart attack.

Are you telling me watching Bryse Wilson or Huascar Ynoa start an NLCS game is NOT a relaxing experience for you?

I know it's an inevitability and I hate it. This playoff format is total bullshite. Taking a couple of days off is not going to suddenly infect dozens of players with fricking COVID.

Does the SoG predictor work in retro?
In other words, could you crank the numbers as if we were going to play aTm, Mizzou, or Ole Miss this week?

Yea, I could do that, the only problem is it would remove 1 week of stats from the baseline numbers.

Can definitely do that next week, though.

I doubt that we can constantly run between the tackles. We struggled pretty bad vs UT and they aren’t on Bama’s level. Monken is going to have to be creative.

I’ll be at the game with 19,999 of everyone else. I will be screaming my face off but in the end I’m expecting a really tight close game that stresses me out completely. Once the game is decided and the clock hits 0 it will be a relief either win or lose. LSU last year was like that, I stressed until we lost lol.

At least the rest of the West looks weak also. Perhaps Alabama can improve enough to get revenge in the championship game.

I can't deal with Game 6 and this shite-show vs Uga at once Saturday evening. Can't do it. I don't feel great about either. Rtr
