That's a phenomenal way of describing what we've seen from him.

Solid take.

I find it hard to believe that there weren’t plenty of players across his career that threw their helmets or were fighting mad after a terrible loss like the one in January.

When I played, everyone was emotional after a loss, but throwing your helmet was a line in the sand that you knew never to cross or there would be punishment. The helmet is the most symbolically significant part of the uniform and throwing it was viewed as disrespecting the program. Saban taking particular issue with it didn't even make me bat an eye because it's just woven into football culture that you never do that.

Yeah, it was typical to have a player that even mildly tossed a helmet run laps around the practice field holding his helmet above his head and shouting “I love my helmet” until the coach got tired of it.

Don’t be surprised to find out that Milroe was one of the ones who not only pitched a fit after the game, but also was one of the players that went to Coach Saban’s office to demand more money.

NS said about 70 or so wanted to know about playing time and money. So it sounded like more than a handful. Check out the portal guys and I assume it was them.

Wow. Talk about some brass Balls - go out and crap the bed on a national stage - come home and demand a raise??? Wow….

In the NFL, wouldn’t most of these malcontents have been traded (fired?)

In the NFL you can't renegotiate your contract at any time. The day after the Super Bowl the 49ers players couldn't show up to the coach's office demanding more money or else they would go play for Seattle or Los Angeles. They could sit out training camp, but then they'd get fined.

It's just a mess. The current system is much worse than professional.

Yep, the Covid Plandemic changed America in ways that not even 9-11-01 did. It's a line of demarcation akin to B.C. and A.D.

Along with Jan 6, although happened in 2021 was a result of 2020
