Yep, this outcome would have bigger impact than most people realize. I think it highly Bama jumps Ohio State if Purdue beats Michigan.

Exactly. It would be completely unprecedented. So would putting in a 2 loss team, but past has shown that putting in Bama via the backdoor is usually the right choice and we are super competitive.

Go root for another fricking team, or take the rest of the year off from Bama. Really hate the Bama fans who are rooting for us NOT to get in.
Youre a damn fan, you shouldnt care if we “deserve” it or not. You should just hope we get in and then root for the best from there. Anything else is just fricking weird from a fan to be honest.

No one is saying we don't want a NC. All anyone is saying is (a) that it won't happen, and (b) we probably won't win even if we do. It's fine, really. 11-2 is nothing to be ashamed of, we would've dreamed of a season like this 17 years ago.

And I am saying it is fricking weird for a fan of a team to not want their team to get in the playoff and have a chance at the championship.
If Bama gets in, works hard and focuses all month, they can beat anybody in the country and I want to see them have the chance.
I dont give a shite if they “deserve” it or not…. They deserve it as much as Ohio State or TCU imo, so I hope they get in over one of them.
If we get in and lose by 2 touchdowns to Georgia, then oh well Id still rather than play in that than the NIT

Obviously Bama hasnt been their normal great this year, and there are changes that need to happen in the offseason, but as fans we should hope that offseason is as far as away as possible and we go on a badass run for #19 in a month.

Exactly. I dont give a crap if we “deserve” it or not. We deserve it enough by being in the conversation, so I just want to get in and win the damn thing. The backdoor championships are almost more fun than the frontrunner championships, and the melts are greater!

Want and reality are completely different things. I don't know why this is so hard to understand. It's not about "deserve" or anything of the sort.... it's just reality. To date, the committee has never included a two-loss team and they never will if a one-loss team is available. Penn State in 2016 is a classic example of their process

They’ll definitely have an argument. Playing very well tonight (after finally swapping their QB to the better option).
If Bama doesn’t get in, I’d rather see Clemson in over TCU to see a potentially better game.
