Since 2008 Alabama has only lost 1 game in which they were a 16+ pt favorite : Sugar Bowl vs Oklahoma in the 2013 season (-17 pt favorite).

See below for a quick breakdown of Florida's pass defenders and who to watch for.

JMO but Bama's DL is going to have to get after Trask from the get go. LSU had some success making him make mistakes and our bunch should at least do the same. Mack hasn't had a shite the bed game and we don't need one this week by having to match scores with them like we did vs Ole Missy.

He’s slow so that will only benefit us. I agree completely.

That loss sucked, but was understandable. Coming off the kick six game and Bama had nothing to play for.

Yea, it's hard to even get mad at that in hindsight. They lost everything in Auburn that day.

- change at a 3rd straight national title
- Undefeated season
- SEC Championship
- Division Championship
- Rivalry win

Those guys hadn't played in a game that didn't matter since they were freshmen or sophomores. On the flip side, Oklahoma was revved the hell up.

SOG, have you not yet posted your model results for this game, or did I miss it?

Big key is barmore pressure. Trask falls apart when forced off platform by pressure up the middle

Most QBs do, but Trask definitely does

It surprised me quite a bit to see Florida is actually doing really well with sacks and TFL on defense.

Do they play really aggressively, or do they have a couple or so really good pass rushers?

It's Grantham - they blitz. A lot. Also they have a few good pass rushers (Cox, the 5-star that transferred from UGA is one).

Mullen sure seems confident by his latest statements. We'll see.

They have probably been preparing for Bama since they beat Georgia.

Not gonna lie... that looks like some great eating. Reminds me of when they came to tuscaloosa with hargreaves and Elam and we just ate them alive.

Florida Defenders

Dang, looks like there might be some Alabama receivers running free in this game.

Yea, I mean, we worry about our defense because that's what we do. And it's been earned over the last few years vs good offenses.

But...

This is a matchup of a great pass defense vs a great pass offense on one side and a great pass offense vs a below average pass defense on the other. Not to mention a below average run offense vs a good run defense and a great run offense vs an average run defense.

We're a 17 point favorite for a reason. We play our game and we're gonna be in good shape.
