If its true.. then it is what it is.. How good of a recruiter is he? And how long does he stay? He has to be better than the NCG to get the USC job..what is his strengths. I need a refresher

Steve Sarkisian will probably be a fine offensive coordinator for Alabama because the guy who went 3-31 at New Mexico just put up forty-five points a game with that roster

I trust Saban, he'll be in control of the best offense he's ever had to work with.

I'm completely fine with Sark.

I think he'll really surprise.

He had Jalen handed to him in a shitty situation with his strengths as a play caller. While fans agree this year has been the best progression of hurts, he was mediocre when Sark was here.
The same fans that hate what Daboll done as OC here, will be the same detractors of Shark.

NFL is a different game. Ask CNS.

Locksley looked great BECAUSE of Tua. When it came down to being more than talent when we were matched, the Xs and Os caught up...

I know Enos added to his development, Jalen as well. But I think this could be an awakening of some great coaches that have a chip on their shoulder with something to prove.

Pro style,.. lets get back to smashing these bitches in the face. Tua will thrive off of any play caller, lets see him go under center with some PA passes.

Sark is probably the only one left that is willing to work under Saban. Saban is such an arse to work for.

Bama fans are still fricking stupid, news at 11.

Pro style simply does not score enough to win games where your defense lets you down. The NFL has moved to spread concepts for this exact reason. Smashing face sounds great, but if you aren't spreading teams out and moving the ball efficiently (which on standard downs it is always more efficient to pass than to run), you are leaving yourself vulnerable.

Sark had 14 games the last 2 seasons with the team scoring 20 points or less. No wonder they let him go.

For all the credit many give Enos for Jalen's development Saban must not have been impressed. Saban must obviously feel Sark is a better developer of QBs because we have two freshman QBs coming in along.

I am so disgusted with Bama athletics as a whole since 1/7/19.

— AL.com can’t confirm that Sarkisian has been hired as of this moment. However, a couple sources mentioned him as a possibility for the offensive coordinator job on Friday and I can confirm that he was in Tuscaloosa today per sources. Sarkisian, who was an analyst at Alabama in 2016 and then briefly the Tide’s offensive coordinator before ultimately leaving for the Atlanta Falcons, was fired by the Falcons Dec. 31.

— Sarkisian wasn’t the only big name coach in town today. Notre Dame offensive coordinator Chip Long was also in Tuscaloosa today, according to sources. It looks like he could join the staff in some capacity even if/when Sarkisian is hired as offensive coordinator. A Birmingham native, Long has been the offensive coordinator at Notre Dame the last two years after one season as the OC at Memphis.
