If you fired Saban who would you hire that you could logically expect to win more games ?

We won a NC with Golding with probably the most prolific offenses to ever come through Bama. The best defense is a good offense so its easy to hide issues. Someone else has posted the decline in defensive numbers so that tells us the direction the defense is going. I have no idea who Saban has available to hire but they have to better than Golding. If you are happy with the product you see on the field, we have different standards of excellence.

You keep spinning away from the very simple question.

If you fire Saban who would you hire that you could logically expect to win more games and titles than Saban since 2018 ? I mean, I’m not even including all the other years. Just the Golding years.

CW, its a stupid question and it not my job. Thats Saban's job....My job is to look at what we are doing on the field and evaluate whether its working or not. Its not. Apparently you happy with our defense.

No no no. Your comment…

If he keeps Golding, I hope he retires soon before the program comes completely off the rail

So for about the 4th time, who would you hire that you can logically expect to win more ?

If you can’t answer that then you are apparently clueless for even suggesting it or just a troll.

It's only a stupid question if you didn't state that Saban needs to retire if he retains Golding. Oh wait you did.

You point blank stated that if the choice is between keeping Saban and Golding or replacing them both you'd choose for Saban to go with Golding.

So the perfectly legitimate question remains if you'd rather have a new head coach than keep Golding who do you think is better than Saban?

Anyone who is running the program into the ground needs to go and that includes ANYONE. I care more for the program and the players than any one individual. The product on the field is not getting it done.

How about you. If you fired Saban, who would you hire that you expect would do a better job?

Your question is not the gotcha you think it is. I do believe there's potentially a replacement out there but no I can't answer which one. I also don't believe the answer is to just ignore it and let him run down the program because he has outstanding accomplishments in the past. I can see where someone would have that view but I am not one of them. I love him but he's been handsomely paid for what he's done at Alabama not to mention the inevitable day when someone names the stadium or field after him. Just because I can't name a coach doesn't mean there isn't one available though.

Another poster that has an account for a long time but has posted very little till lately, and a review of his posts show most of the posts on this board are critical of Alabama. Seems to think a lot of Georgia though.

Sounds like a letter of recommendation to me, but maybe that’s wishful thinking.

You can't stay on topic without trying to divert, change the topic, and cast baseless accusations. Your responses are childish.

No one gives a damn about your DA question and furthermore has nothing to do with this issues of this team.....And I repeat again, I'm for getting rid of ANYONE not keeping this team at a championship level.

We have some truly delusional fans. The comments in these threads are so laughable that I wonder if these people live in the real world or just in the virtual reality of computer games.
The level of disrespect and ingratitude shown towards perhaps the Greatest College Football coach is mind boggling.
Be happy for what we have till we have it,because once it’s gone you may never see it in your lifetime.

Now we know why Saban has been looking so relaxed in the sidelines.

Uh no that's the coaching staff's job. And the fleet of analysts we have. Not some delusional fan on the internet.

Tell me you jumped on the Bama bandwagon around 2009 without telling me. If you think the last 2 seasons equate to "running the program into the ground" you are out of touch with reality. The stretch from 2000-2006 is what running a program into the ground looks like.

God help this fanbase when Saban actually does retire and his replacement has a couple of 9-3 or 8-4 seasons.

You are truly one of my stalkers.
Yes, its is our right/job/freedom to break down the team and talk about it all we want. This is what this forum is for. Apparently you have forgotten this......I've been a fan of Bama probably longer than you have been alive judging by your maturity level. You really need to grow up and discuss things like an adult. Its obvious you have an obsession for me, but feel free to keep it up. I can handle whatever you throw at me. You assume a lot.

Let me expound your small mind with another post I made:
To follow up on what you said, no matter what happens, Saban will be honored and revered in the halls of Alabama and college football forever. He is and will always be appreciated. I see no one attacking him personally. A critique of the program is far from not appreciating and honoring all he has done. Some people are having a hard time separating a fans perspective vs attacking Saban. But no matter what, the program and whats best for the kids always comes first and is above any one person.
