Not just Bama fatigue.

SEC fatigue.

Oregon's AD? Ronnie Lott? Oklahoma AD?

I'm hearing a lot of representation who want none of the South excelling.

It's crazy how we have to hear about how poor our schedule is, yet not a mention of how terrible Utah's has been or how Oregon have struggled many weeks and the only team with less then four loses they have faced was Auburn (who they lost to).

Anyways, let's just hope Auburn does their home vodoo on Georgia and UCLA shocks Utah or ASU shocks Oregon next week.

I'm not buying the conference champion BS. Not all the conferences are equal, so how can you say a one loss conference champion from the Big 12 or Pac-12 is better then a one loss Bama because those teams play in lesser conferences.

We saw it with the Auburn/Oregon game. A 5th best SEC team beats the Pac-12 frontrunner.

Put Bama in the Pac-12 or Big 12, would Bama not be a conference champion?

Plus, the melt of us beating them in a rematch would be delicious.

The entire state of Louisiana would break away and float into the gulf.

I think we have a good shot to get in at 4 and I would absolutely love to play LSU. And like you said if we win they would die 1000 deaths it would break them off clean. If we can play 3 or 4 quarters instead of 2 we might win.

A conference championship was never meant to be a prerequisite for entry into the playoff. The committee wants the 4 best teams.

RPI has the PAC 12 rated the 6th best conference. Behind the AAC (4th) and the ACC (5th). The PAC 12 is garbage and winning it shouldn’t mean much on a national level.

AU beating UGA may be good or not good. It would move us to 4 next week. Oregon and Utah neither play a team with a better record of 4-5 the remainder of the season. So if we beat a top 10 AU team the last game of the regular season the only team that might have a legit shot of jumping us is Baylor.

But lets say UGA beats AU. They will hold that spot at 4 with us staying at 5 going into championship weekend. If UGA drops the game to LSU but it was close they may only drop to 5 and keep a buffer for us.

Enough with the scenarios as I doubt we have a great shot currently. And unless this team improves not sure losing in the semi's is better then winning the Sugar Bowl.

Exactly. We have a game this weekend and let’s focus on MSU.

The only 100% way into the playoffs..

LSU has a major let down and loses to Ole Piss and Tex A&M.

We win out, win the West and beat UGA..

Then we are 100% IN

.

YEAH, I KNOW.. It ain't happening

We don't make the playoffs, they put Bama vs Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl for a Tua vs Jalen matchup. Tua and Jalen sit out the bowl to focus on the NFL draft. Lol

Im concerned that the committee will absolutely not under any circumstances match up 2 SEC teams in the semifinal. That they’d rather leave Bama out to avoid it. Right now the only clear way around an All-SEC Peach bowl is to put Ohio State ahead of LSU in the final rankings.

I think they would rather two SEC teams play in the Peach Bowl, then have the possibility of a all SEC NCG.

OSU can finish the season out including their CCG with 3 straight wins over top 15 teams. If they run the table they will jump LSU in the final ranking.

We can go ahead and anchor this thread. We’ve destroyed any paths today.

Without Tua, Bama isn't getting in, even at 11-1.
