We gotta get to the bottom of this

It’s true. All of it. I did a google search on the most recent news about Mac and the first result confirmed it with an ESPN hit piece on Mac. And furthering the conspiracy, I found the ESPN slander referenced on the Patriot Wire.

quote:

According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, Jones could very well give Newton a run for his money when training camp begins later this summer. Jones did have his fair share of rookie moments at minicamp, but Reiss also observed that he looked very comfortable for a rookie quarterback in Josh McDaniels’ offensive system. “When he had it going, the passing game most closely resembled what it had been for the better part of the past two decades from a timing, rhythm and accuracy standpoint,” Reiss wrote. “And while there were some predictable hiccups along the way — such as a bad interception on the final day that led to visible frustration in which Jones wound up and almost punched the ground — it seems safe to say there isn't another rookie quarterback over the past 21 years who is as far along as Jones is in the system this fast.”
