I remember a time not long ago when Alabama always had a STABLE of elite RBs. We had Najee, DHenry, Josh Jacobs, Damien Harris, Bo Scarborough i think at the same time, if not, close to the same time

Now who do we have? Jahmyr Gibbs - a transfer, and who else? Nobody worth mentioning. Not to mention the fact that we can't even run the fricking ball.

Are you guys seeing what im seeing yet?

We went from always having MULTIPLE 1st & 2nd rd draft picks at WR AND RB. Guys that WE recruited out of high school.

Now we've got nobody. We spend every offseason now scouring the portal for other people's playmakers. This has gotten embarrassing.

Take off the Crimson glasses for a moment and look around. We've got frickING NOBODY. ESPECIALLY after this year.

We got Gibbs from the transfer portal. We'll use it next year to fix any holes... Easy peasy

We've got the #2 and #3 overall RB recruits coming in next year. I can't tell if this is a big troll or if you're just an idiot. Please clarify.

McClellan has been solid.

Trey Sanders was gonna be a superstar but fate robbed him.

It’s not bad just bad luck

So your answer to the fact that we dont have a single elite running back on our roster that we recruited, is that we have two highly ranked guys who are supposed to be coming in next year as true freshmen?

This isnt a program that's rebuilding. This is supposed to be the top program in the country. There's no excuse for the fact that we're relying on true freshmen and transfers every year.

No, it's bad. I don't think it's a mere coincidence that none of our RBs have panned out at the same time that none of our WRs have panned out.

The mere coincidence isn't the talent it's who is using them.

Also stop making shitty threads.

Jase and Roydell were highly regarded, and doing great. Then they both had season ending knee injuries last year, which set them back some. Camar Wheaton was one of the best RB prospects in the country, but came in injured last year, and transferred. Emmanuel Henderson was considered by many to be the top RB in the country last year. He's changing positions, since the staff feels he will be better suited to WR long term. Jamarion Miller is a good back, and has done well this year when he has played as a true freshman. We have two of the best backs in this year's class currently commited (most sources rate them 1&2 or 2&3). Our recruiting at RB has been, and continues to be, remarkable.

Agreed. The OP is a troll. Bama has talented backs and receivers. As always.

All those great RBs leave after three years for the big leagues also. Like others have said we have recruited fine at RB just bad luck with injuries with a like three guys and the others are young.

I don't see what's so hard to understand about my post, or why it's controversial.

We went from having 3-4 RBs on our roster that would go on to start in the NFL to having none except for a transfer.

I mean if yall can't see the obvious drop-off in our recruiting recently, then I really don't know what to tell you. Get a brain transplant. This isn't that complicated.

I think that Jamarrion Miller is going to be damn good.

McClellan and Williams tore their knees up only a year ago. They are still very solid this season.

and we all know about Sanders.

Brian Robinson is basically a starter in the NFL as a rookie.

BRob was a 5 year player here if im not mistaken. He's another guy that was recruited a long time ago along with many other NFL starters which bolsters my point about the dropoff the past 2-4 years. We used to be literally 4-deep with NFL starters
Ill give you Jamarion Miller though. He looks legit
