But don’t you know, he’s supposed to change what he does to fit the talent he has at this transitory moment in time, even if it means going to the Notre Dame Box, just to “win now” and pacify fans on a message board.

I give him a D at best a C- but its mainly due to his play calling and how unprepared and out of sorts the team looked consistently this year. I think a lot of guys in here are overreacting but it's not like CKD did anything to keep on the fence.

D+....there was some good. Beat uga, stomped lsu, and beat the boogs. But the bad losses, unprepared, and no balls to try Ty or Mack is concerning

F after today.

I have remained hopeful for the future the entire season, I lost most of that hope today watching this game. I really hope I am proven wrong over the next couple years, but I just don’t think DeBoer is a good fit for Alabama. Sadly I’m not sure who would be.

B+ in red shirts. F in white shirts. Not benching Milroe at OU was the dagger.

C

For the chicken littles of the board, the sky is not falling. No he isn’t Nick Saban, he’s simply the best available coach we could get who does have an excellent track record.

Transfers and NIL make this a completely different landscape that must be navigated. So buckle up, it’s going to be a rocky road for everyone for a while.

Nick is not walking back through the door, so get used to it.

We're stuck with this softy. Let's just hope he can somehow evaluate a QB and maybe get a competent OC.... If he can stomach getting rid of a coach.

D, largely to the mess Saban left him with LANK and his not having the balls to correct it.

Hilarious coming from the biggest Milroe fanboy on this site. You gargled #4 all year long.

The guy had us unprepared in every game.

I get Milroe sucks but damn Saban showed he could at least manage his arse and our bad OL to 10 wins.

We were unprepared for Vandy and Oklahoma.

We didn't even have the right cleats for Michigan.

Dude deserves an F+

He’s not wrong in that CKD should have benched #4’s arse and is at fault for not doing so, but watching him change his tune in an effort to lay blame squarely on DeBoer is comical.

… but did he? Or was he contractually and culturally obligated too?

Factually not true. I called both good and bad. I blamed the coaches too...
